From my Domaystic 2023 collection (it's a gloomy morning here, figured this little fluff piece would be fitting for today)

It was a cloudy, and rainy day, and neither Hetty or Granger felt like doing anything for a while, other then stay in bed.
.'Want to just lie here and just, talk?' Granger asked.
Moving closer to him. 'Sure! What did you have in mind?' Hetty replied.
'I dunno. You usually know how to start these things. You go ahead.'
'Well, sometimes when I wake up in the middle of the night, I feel scared. Like I'm alone, and needing help. Then I look at you sleeping beside me, and I feel safe again. What about you?'
Smiling. 'For a long time, I would just lie or sit around feeling sorry for myself about how sad my life seemed to have turned out. Then, I was friends with someone who didn't think my life was too tragic to ever be happy. And she showed me that trying to be happy, wasn't so unbelievable. And um, you look really peaceful when you're asleep, if that's okay to say.
Feeling so touched by his kind words, Hetty laid her head down on his shoulder and whispered: 'Very much okay!'
Gently laying his head on her head, he whispered back: 'Thank you.' Then they just laid there for a while, being thankful to have each other.
