Prologue:

  She was always so annoying.

  He was always so calm.

She was dumb... in her endeavours.

He was smart beyond his age.

Everyone wants to be like him, not her.

  But sometimes,

She wants to be like him, too.

Priscilla found herself swarmed with overgrown Venus flytraps. She threw her apple-picking robot into its monstrous mouth before running away. She dodged the other two, fleeing with all of her intact.

Suddenly, Cody jumped in, swooping her off her legs and carried her to safety. The young man made sure she wasn't hurt before hopping back into the building to save her mother. She didn't know what she did to deserve the save.

When her mother was finally free from the collapsing building, Priscilla hugged her hero, thanking him. He smiled brightly, knowing that saving people has always been his job, even if it means to stay at the command centre. After all, he was the one who helped the bots get along with his family.

"Anything to help people, Priscilla, anything," Cody said.

The young boy's sister approached. "Come on you two, I'll get you to the hospital for a check up..."

Priscilla screamed. The vines had tied itself around her waist and legs, causing her to trip. She held on to the grass tightly, spoiling her precious nails. A branch fell right beside her. With life hanging in the balance, she grabbed onto the large branch.

Oh, how she wished that Cody was here!

A policebot emerged from the distance with some kind of blue tool in his servo. He stared at the young girl before using his tool to pinch on the vines, causing it to retract.

"Priscilla, get to the exit. We'll escort you there!" Chief instructed from inside the bot.

"Ugh, finally," Priscilla scoffed as she ran for her life.

As she ran down the stairs, she desperately looked for Cody in each level of the forest. The horrific image of the boy getting devoured by a giant monster flower was a potential reality. What would she do if the boy was gone?

Another brand new, dull day. Priscilla sighed. She slowly climbed out of bed, scrolling through social media. A new post emerged in her feed, and she took a long glance at it. It was Cody, helping to wash the bots after a daring rescue. He was shown splashing a bucket of soap water at Kade, who blocked his face with a huge smile across his face. Cody was seen laughing at the next slide as he threw a sponge at Dani.

Priscilla felt an urge to get out of bed.

"Morning, mother," she yawned as she walked down the stairs.

"Morning, sweetheart. Listen, mummy will be out again today for work," the young lady with a face of makeup that covered her sins said. "Be a good girl okay?"

"Yes mother." She is never available for her, ever.

After breakfast, Priscilla took a walk in the park. She noticed Cody assisting his father on rescuing a certain fat white cat. She was about to approach the two when Frankie ran toward them, not noticing her. Frankie waved at Cody, and Cody waved back.

One day, Priscilla will greet Cody with high confidence.

Priscilla screamed as another too-long-to-be-natural vine came clawing at her. The helicopter bot swooped in and cut the nasty forest before opening his- its canopy.

"Jump in, Priscilla! Hurry!" Cody shouted. Priscilla did as told, and up they go.

"Cody! Thank goodness," Priscilla froze midway about to hug the boy. "I mean, thanks..."

"You should thank Dani, she spotted you," Cody laughed. He turned back to his sister. "We need to figure out how to get those things to stop growing."

"They're starting to look like the tentacles from Stranger Things," Frankie commented.

"You're watching the series I recommended?" Cody gasped. "Frankie! You're addicted to something that's for once not scientific!"

Frankie giggled. When the girl looked around, she spotted vines retracting from the sea water. "Look! They stop growing after touching sea water!"

"Need some salt?" Priscilla asked. "My mum just gave me her salt company's contact."

"That would help a lot, "Cody smiled. "You're not that bad of a person."

"Just... let me call the company," Priscilla whipped out her phone.

"Priscilla can provide some salt so we can mix it with water, then we fuel water guns and my sprinkler system with it," Cody suggested.

"Great idea, but we'll need more than the hands we have available. There's so many people in town who are getting tangled by these creatures," Dani glanced around the ground in concern.

  "I can help with that."

"Priscilla? Are you sure you can handle it?" the boy asked.

"You said you have water guns, I can use one of those to spray on any entanglement hazard around town," Priscilla suggested.

"Great idea, but be careful," Cody approved. "Let H- Kade know, Dani."

  "Gotcha!"

"And Priscilla," Cody turned to the girl, "thanks for wanting to help."

"No problem," she let out a small smile.
