Diary entry — (Y/N)

26th November

  First day back on Griffin Rock. Gotta admit, I miss that little town.

  Charlie, my best friend, came to pick me up with a police car that I don't recognise.

  "Welcome back, old friend," Charlie greeted as I step foot on the port.

  "I'm not that old," I laughed.

  "Sir, are we headed back to the firehouse?"

  I stared at the police car and stepped back. It... talked! How is this possible? Sure, Cybertronians did make it on the news but I had no idea Griffin Rock had one!

  "They're all over the news, never heard of them?" Charlie asked.

  "I did, certainly. I didn't realise that our town has one," I replied, amazed.

  The police car transformed, introducing himself as Chase. I nodded with a smile.

  "Come on, we have a lot to catch up on," Charlie said, putting a hand on my shoulder.

28th November

  "Chief never told us he had a sister," Heatwave, the leader of the Rescue Bots, said out loud as I slid down the pole.

  "I'm not his sister, but his friend," I replied, walking towards the group of giants.

  "Hi Miss (Y/N)!" Boulder, a lover of nature, greeted me.

  "Hello back to you too, Boulder," I smiled.

  Everyone had been friendly so far. Upon knowing that I was a firefighter in my younger days, they asked me about firefighter codes and all other things. I would chuckle all the time; these guys are adorable.

  "TV decided to be boring today," Blades, the orange bot, spoke. He was sitting on the couch with a remote control in servo.

  "How about a walk outside?" I suggested.

  "Objection. The last time we went out, we nearly caused a wreck, right Heatwave?" Chase asked, leaning against the wall with a datapad.

  Heatwave growled in response and crossed his arms across his chassis. I chuckled.

  "Keep your secrets. I will find out eventually," I joked, putting my hands on my hips.

  Heatwave growled again. "Remind me why I just had to wish we don't have to act like mindless tin cans when we first came."

  "(Y/N)? Daily newspaper just came, I thought you needed a copy," Charlie called out, getting out of the elevator.

"Yeap, thanks a lot," I replied with a smile.

Charlie handed me a paper with a cup of hot coffee in hand. He sips it, greets everyone, and walks off. I looked at the paper headlines.

STATUE OF OPTIMUS PRIME BUILT
28th May, Griffin Rock — The mayor, namely Mayor Luskey, officially finished a statue built in Optimus Prime's honour.

"It was hard work, but I knew our talented Griffin Rock construction workers are skilled enough to build this giant statue," Mayor Luskey commented.
