"Sparks?!"
The blue mech stood in a void, searching for the face of his beloved. He looked around frantically. A soft yet sinister voice led him to a door. He leaned on the door lightly.
"I love you so much, Heatwave. You have no idea how long I've been waiting for you..."
No... this- this can't be.
"You were right. High Tide was too obsessed with his oceans and ships. He never took time away to tend to my needs," a familiar deep, soothing voice sighed.
The door burst open. The firebot was buried into another mech's chassis. There was barely any light, but enough for High Tide to find out the truth.
"Sparks..."
Heatwave glanced over to High Tide with cold optics. To prove a point, Heatwave turned to the mech he had been seeing, tiptoed and...
"High Tide?"
He jolted awake to find Heatwave by his side. He sighed. Everything was just a nightmare. The faithful red mech would never hurt him. He pulled Heatwave into an embrace.
"What is this about?" Heatwave smiled, returning the embrace.
"I'm glad ye woke me up," High Tide muttered.
"Why's that?" Heatwave inquired.
"Nigh'mare," the blue mech answered softly.
Heatwave hugged his husband slightly tighter. "I'm here for you till the end. Want te tell me what happened?"
