I grabbed her soft and gentle hand that was much smaller than mine. Her body fitted in a black sparkling dress with small parts of silver scattering it. She wore black heels, which brought her two inches shorter than me. I heard this beautiful sound of laughter drawing out of her mouth and I turned back to look. Her eyes shined in the flashing lights coming in front of us. Her smile made the world around us colorful. I pulled her in close to me, wrapping my arm around the crooks of her neck, then taking hold of her hand again, kissing it softly. I walked onto the carpet first, she trailed a few inches behind me, "c'mon, babe."
Joanne held the middle of her dress scrunched in her hand and looked back to make sure everything was okay, "oh, i'm coming."
I wrapped my arm around her back and glanced down at the small bump she had. She set her hand on the bump for a second and I leaned forward, putting my hands behind my back. Joanne's hand almost touching my shoulder and she had been laughing. I got up and we walked along the camera's, posing for the red carpet.
Joanne took my hand and we walked over to the small stage we were about to be interviewed at. I walked up the steps first, holding my hand out for Joanna to walk up. When she stood next to me. She rested her hands on my shoulders and I glanced at her slightly, "a big entrance from the couple no one was expecting. Panic! At The Disco's, Brendon Urie and Celebrity stylist, Joanne Jackson on today's red carpet for the vma's, how are you guys today?"
I smiled softly and put my arm around Joanne's back, "we're terrific, actually. We're great."
"And you just announced hours before this award show that you and Joanne were expecting a baby together! How did you react?"
Joanne hid her face behind my shoulder and I chuckld softly, "well actually, I didn't believe at first. I had to hear it from her instead of looking at the test. Both of us had to get some reassurance in us, but we're beyond excited for a new addition."
"And not to mention, all of your fans are wondering when you and Joanne are going to get engaged and possibly married."
Joanne and I looked at each other and a small chuckle escaped both of our mouths, "that'll come." I mumbled.
The interviewer let us go and Joanne and I sat along many other celebrities.

Joanne and I walked along the sidewalk to the doors that led to the studio. I grabbed her hands and stood in front of her. I planted a kiss on her parted lips and furrowed my eyebrows, "hey, are you okay?"
I glanced at Joanne, "huh? What? Yeah, i'm fine."
"You seem nervous. What's going on?"
I kneeled down on one knee, stuffing my hand in my one pocket, "I love you, Joanne. And life for us is finally what we both want it to be. You're something so special to me, My Jj and I never ever want to lose that. Marry me, Jj."
I heard sniffling coming from her, "oh my.."
"Will you?"
She nodded her head yes and I pulled the ring out of my pocket. A huge square diamond ring. I placed it along her finger and she brought it close to her face, admiring it, "Jj Urie has a better ring, huh?"
Joanne fanned herself off with her hand and I wrapped my arm around her back, "let's go in." She mumbled.
We walked in together and confetti was immediately thrown at us. Joanne screamed and I jumped back a little bit. I looked at the sign above. Congratulations Jj and Brendon.
Joanne turned to me and then everyone else, "you all knew!?"
Everyone nodded their heads and Jj shook hers. We parted ways, drifting apart from each other. I grabbed a plate of food, feeling a shove against me. I turned around, "you better be serious about my sister. I can't let her get hurt again."
I furrowed my eyebrows and grabbed a chip from my plate, "I asked you for permission first before I asked your parents, dipshit."
She crossed her arms, "dont hurt her. I've never seen her this happy."
"I don't know what you're so worried about, Alex," I began and handed her a chip, "your sister saved me. She won't ever know that, but she saved me. She's my miracle."
Alex nodded her head and I did too. We walked to the front of the party where I interlocked my arm around Jj. I felt happy in this point in my life. She was my happy point,
"I want to take this moment and give some light on Jj," I began and everyone sat down. Jj stood next to me, and I made her sit down in the first seat in the front row, "a lot of you may not realize many things about her. She's honest and she does try her hardest, despite the things that set her back. Jj is a hard worker and she's a woman full of love. She's my woman filled with love. Before Jj, I just had these petty romances that were barely romances. After being with her, my whole perspective has changed. I couldn't fathom how much I wanted her to love me. I didn't think I was going to be able to get her to be mine, but I did and I'm surprised I did. With that, a toast to future Mrs. Jj Urie!"
I watched as Alex slapped Jj's arm, "go up there and make a goddamn speech about that man."
Jj grabbed her arm and got up, handing her her purse and phone. Jj stood up in front of everyone, "Before Brendon continues to shower this amazing light on me, I want to finally shed light on the man he is. Brendon waited for me while I was in an abusive relationship. He made me feel safe and secure in such a scary and dark world and I will forever be grateful for that. He's the kind of man you bring home to your parents. And I did that. My parents love Brendon. He's a protector and he shields me from the trauma's of this world, even though i've experienced some already. There is no better man that I would call my future husband and no better man to call the father of our baby."
Brendon walked up to me and pulled me close, hugging me tightly. My eyes peeked from his shoulders and I furrowed my eyebrows, trying not to cry.
Brendon Urie—you are the one.
