February 22, 2018: 12:33 p.m.
I rushed Alex down the hospital hallway. She kept her breathing as steady as possible. She had her hand on her bump, Jesse holding her other hand and running beside the wheelchair, "Jesse! Get the fuck out of the way!" I yelled at him. Jesse shot his head back at me. Brendon and the kids and the rest of the family were in the waiting room. A doctor waited for us in the room and I wheeled Alex beside the bed. Jesse and I helped her change into a hospital gown and helped her into the bed. I rested my hand on my bump and sat down in the chair and took a deep breath. Alex was close to being completely dilated. And—it's moms birthday. The doctor set Alex up more and Alex glanced at me, "am I gonna be okay, Joj—is this normal?"

I rested my hand on her shoulder and smiled softly, "yes. This is all completely normal. You're doing great, Alex."

Jesse ran his free fingers through his hair, then held Alex's hand. I felt a pain on my stomach and I readjusted in my chair and took a long breath, "you okay, Joanne?"

I rested my hand on my bump and furrowed my eyebrows, "yeah. Yeah, just a stomach pain."

I hoped that I wasn't going into labor or anything. This is Alex and Jesse's big day. Those two and their son deserve the attention, not me. I got up, but the cramping started to become stronger and I fell back into the chair and took deep breaths, "are you sure you're okay?"

I glanced over at Jesse and ignored the pain. I didn't need to show that I could be going into labor. I nodded my head, got up and walked out. Brendon was walking toward the room and I leaned against the wall. He furrowed his eyebrows and rushed over to my side, "you okay?"

I shook my head, "no," I began and took a breath, "I think im in labor-"

Brendon raised his eyebrows and jumped back, but then put his hand on my shoulder, "you're sure?"

I nodded my head and ran my fingers through my hair and he grabbed my hand, "come on, we have to get you into a room-"

I pulled my hand and shook m head again, "No! Im not taking the attention away from Alex and Jesse. These babies can fucking wait!"

Brendon rolled his eyes and scoffed, "no, let's go. Now."

I crossed my arms, "they can wait."

Boy, was I wrong. The pain started to come more often and I winced and put my hand in my bump again and glanced at Brendon, who raised his eyebrows at me. I sighed and nodded my head, "okay, yeah. Let's go."

I sat in the hospital bed. I was almost ready to push. Brendon held my hand and supported me. This was stressful. Not only am I pushing one kid out, im pushing out two, "do you need anythi-"

"Shut the fuck up!" I yelled.

Brendon stifled back a bit and rolled his eyes and leaned a bit forward, "be nice."

My eyes sliced his, "i am being nice," I began and looked up at the ceiling, "please shut the fuck up!"

The phone rang and Brendon didn't move to answer it. It began to piss me off and I stared at him and he hesitated to look at me, "are you going to fucking stand there like a clown or are you going to pick it up!"

"Right," he shot back and leaned to the side and picked the phone up, "facetime from Alex."

I snatched the phone from his hand and glared at him as i answered the call, "where the hell did you go."

"Where the fuck does it look like I went?!"

Alex stared at me through the camera. I was getting annoyed with the fact that she was literally dumb, "oh my fucking god. Im about to give birth too!"
