I woke up the next morning. Warmer than I was before I fell asleep. His buffed arms wrapped around me and he held me close to him. I lifted my head up from the couch, scratching my head and sitting up. I glanced back and put my hands over my face. I heard moving behind me and a hand trailing along my waist. I moved it and scooted over, "dont."

Brendon slightly lifted up. I turned my head and glanced at him. I rolled my eyes and sighed. He sniffled and cleared his throat and when he spoke, his voice was raspy, "baby, i'm sorry for last night-"

"No," I began and sighed. I set my hands down and rubbed my thighs, "I am. I should've told you sooner. You deserve to know those things."

Brendon got up more, bringing his hand up to my arm and squeezing it. His lips fell to my neck and he kissed it slightly, "just shut up," he began. Brendon turned my face to his and he crashed his lips onto mine. He pulled me down and his hands trailed down the sides of my body. Brendon pulled my leg over to the other side of his body from the back of my thigh and I was sitting on-top of him. He pulled himself up a bit, pushing my head to the side with his lips from my jaw and kissing my neck. I let out a soft breath and Brendon trailed back up and kissed me again, "dad! Your phones ringing!"

Brendon and I stopped kissing each other and I let out a sigh. Brendon shook his head, looking down and chuckled a bit. He patted my hip, motioning me to get off, "alright, I got it."

I listened and got off of him. Brendon grunted as he got up from the couch, tossing the blanket off of him and rushing upstairs to answer his phone. I got up from the couch and walked up the steps. I walked right by mine and Brendons room. I walked Daphne's room and knocked on the wall, "what do you want for breakfast?"

"I'll just eat cereal," she began and tossed a sweatshirt over her long sleeve, "I don't have time."

I nodded my head, turned around and walked out. I walked down the hallway and turned to walk into the room, but I ran into Brendon, "where are you goin'?"

Brendon slid past me and I turned slightly. He cleared his throat and glanced back as he walked down toward the steps, "late for a meeting."

I bit the inside of my cheek and nodded my head. He blew me a kiss and I faked a smile and closed my bedroom door. I sighed, walking to my dresser as I took my shirt off to change into a light blue sweater. I slid my pants off and put on black fleeced leggings and to top it off, fuzzy socks. I pulled my hair back into a low ponytail. I put my glasses on, because I ran out of my contacts. I walked out of the bedroom and walked downstairs. Clover, River and Daphne were already downstairs. As I walked into the kitchen, Daphne was making sure Clover and River sat down in their seats. Recently, Brendon and I discovered that they hate those chairs. I opened the fridge, grabbed the milk, juice, apple sauce and kiwi. I grabbed two small plates and put a small bowl of apple sauce in the corners, then put the cut up fruit on the plate. I poured juice into their cups and walked over to them, setting the plates in front of them, then their drinks. Daphne and I crossed paths in the kitchen numerous times as she grabbed her bowl, silverware, something to drink and a bowl of fruit to eat on the side, while I made toast for myself. I stared at the time. Enough time to get Daphne into school and Clover and River into daycare/preschool.

I sat down at the table with the kids. I ate my toast. The kids ate their breakfast. I looked around. Something felt off about today. Something was weird. I didn't like it. I finished my last piece of toast and dusted my hands off, got up and picked River up, "okay, let's go. Daphne get ready."

Daphne got up quickly, taking one more spoonful of cereal as she walked over to the sink and set the dish in there. I watched as she raced upstairs and I carried Clover on my Back and River on my hip. I struggled a bit, but, I managed to get up the steps. I decided to change them into Clovers room, since they were practically inseparable, I had a drawer for River in there. Vice Versa. I picked a snow-themed sweater and black leggings with boots for Clover. And for River, I picked out a heavy flannel with a white long-sleeve underneath with black jeans and sneakers. I changed them quickly, packed their bags and put their heavy coats, hats and gloves on. I held their hands as we walked out to the hallway and met Daphne.
