I sniffled as I packed up Daphne's things from the hotel room. Brendon and I were doing good for a little until he started to lack in his commitment to me. Daphne walked out of the bathroom. I sighed for a moment, "go get your dad. He's on the balcony. You stay on the balcony, cause i'm sure you don't want to hear this."

Daphne nodded her head and I closed her suitcase. I got up, setting the suitcase on the bed and looking at Clover to make sure she was okay. She was only four months old now. She was bigger. I heard the door close and I turned around, then turned back around, "what?"

"Daphne, Clover and I are going home." I uttered.

"Going home? Why?" He asked, furrowing his eyebrows and crossing his arms.

I rested my hand on the bed and set my hand on my hip, "there's no time for us as a family. There's no time for you and I."

"Babe, this is my job."

"Right," I began and shook my head, "I forgot that a job is way more important than your family."

Brendon scoffed and unfolded his arms, "this is your job too!"

"No. My job is to design clothing for you and the band and I finished all of your tour clothes and interview clothes for these last 6 months. They're done and here."

Brendon took a deep breath, obviously annoyed, "what? Are you saying i'm married my job?"

I bit my lip and looked out to the balcony, "sure as hell doesn't feel like you're married to me."

I walked past Brendon and opened the balcony door, letting Daphne know that we had to go. She grabbed her shoes and put them on, tying them and I took Daphne's suitcase off of the bed, "Joanne-"

"Don't." I stated and stopped in my tracks to look at him. I looked back down and dragged the suitcase past Brendon and in front of the bed.

"Joanne, we can talk about this."

I walked over to Daphne and closed her ears, "we've had so many chances to talk and you took none of them seriously."

"Because I didn't see what you were talkin' about!"

I kept her ears covered and rolled my eyes, "you missed her pageant that you promised her you'd go to."

"I apologized and she accepted it. Daphne doesn't hate me."

I took my hands off of Daphne's ears and she got up, grabbing the handle of her suitcase. I grabbed my bags and carried Clover in her carrier. Daphne stopped and hugged Brendon. He got down to her level and pulled her in tightly, "i'm not mad."

He kissed the side of her head caressed her hair, "i love you, Daph."

"I love you."

Daphne turned around and grabbed her suitcase handle once again and we left. Everyone was quiet. The world was quiet. The elevator door closed and I put my free hand on Daphne's head and ruffled her hair and smiled softly at her. I looked at Clover, peacefully asleep. I walked down to the parking garage, unlocking the car and Daphne ran and got in. I opened the door and placed Clover in the carseat. I put everyone's luggage into the trunk and Alex walked from her hotel and opened the passenger seat, getting in and rolling her window down, "Jo! Joanne!"

I turned around and Brendon was running toward me. When he got closer to me, I could see how heavy he was breathing. I slammed the trunk shut, "why are you leaving?"

"You're devoted to work right now. Where'd your devotion go for me? For the kids?"

Brendon set his hands lightly on my shoulders, "you know I love you and the kids more than anything."
