I walked into the studio with Alexandra. She had mentioned that Brendon wrote a new song and she wanted to hear it. I still hadn't spoke to anyone about what had happened between the two of us. Only Lottie knew. She was the only person I could trust to keep her mouth shut about something so serious. Brendon had headphones on in the studio and the song began. I leaned against the wall and began listening,

Climbin' out the back door didn't leave a mark
No one knows its you, Miss Jackson.
Found another victim but no ones
gonna find Miss Jackson
Jackson
Jackson

A pit formed in my stomach. Alexandra looked at me, the look gave off a 'are you hearing what i'm hearing?' look. I took a deep breath and continued listening,

You put a sour little flavor in my mouth now
You move in circles hopin no ones gonna find out
But we're so lucky kiss the ring and let it bow down
Lookin for the time of your life

A pretty picture but the scenery is so loud
A place like heaven catching lighting in your night gown
But back away from the water, babe you might drown
The party isn't over tonight.

Where will you be waking up tomorrow morning?
Out the back door goddamn but I love her anyway
I love her anyway
I love her anyway
Out the back door goddamn but I love her anyway

Miss Jackson
Miss Jackson
Miss Jackson, Are you nasty?
Miss Jackson
Miss Jackson
Miss Jackson, are you nasty?
Are you nasty?
I love her anyway

Where will you be waking up tomorrow mornin?
Out the back door goddamn but I love her anyway.

Alexandra opened the door to the studio Brendon was in and took his headphones off of him. I hurried quickly behind her, "what the fuck are you doing?!"

"I'm recording the song I wrote for the fucking album, short shit."

Alexandra tossed the headphones on the ground, "why are you using our last name?"

"Oh, shut it, Alex."

He shifted his gaze toward me and I stared at him in disbelief. I turned and walked toward my office and slamming the door behind me. I grabbed my phone and called my group chat with Kimberly, Lottie and Jada. I pressed the speaker button, "serious talk." I uttered.

"Oh shit." Jada said. Everyone went silent, waiting for me to speak.

"Brendon wrote a new song. Alex and I went to listen to it and it has our last name in it."

Everyone gasped and began freaking out. I laughed a little at their reactions, "guys, stop. I don't want this!"

"Oh! My brother has a friend. His name's Keaton, he's real cute." Kimberly stated, "i don't know why you'd ever take this song as a bad thing."

"I do not like him."

I listened to their advice and got set up on a date with Keaton Lethardo. I only had known what he looked like. He has medium lengthened hair and it was a deep brown. He had sort of a beard and these ocean blue eyes. His face was chiseled for the most part. He was tall, a little slim and had some muscle. He was attractive. But I had just been on a date with Brendon yesterday, and maybe this was the key to get Brendon away from me.

I walked out of my office, meeting up with Alexandra on the way out. She swung the door open—assuming she was still irritated from earlier. We loaded into her car and she let out a rough sigh, "i still don't know why I got this job."
