Brendon Urie:

I hadn't seen Joanne since our club incident. That was three months ago. It was now May and she was six months pregnant. She had been a little more okay with me not showing up to things. She was starting to understand. And the six month mark means that she was showing more. I was excited to see her bump. I was excited to see the girls for the next three days because three shows are set in California and I can stay at home. It was six in the morning. The tour bus had just dropped me off. I grabbed my bag and my jacket and the rest of my things and hopped off the sprinter and walked up the driveway. I noticed a lone light in the house. I shrugged it off and opened the front door. I turned and flicked the hallway light on, but got distracted when I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist, "daddy!"

I widened my eyes and bent down a bit, picking Daphne up and putting her on my back. She hugged my from behind tightly. Joanne held Clover on her hip and she sort of waddled toward me, a smile painted across her face. When she was inches from me, my hand fell to her open hip and I pulled her in. I leaned in and kissed her soft pink lips. Her chestnut brown hair was pulled back into a messy braid, but she had this beautiful glow to her. I placed a kiss on the side of Clover's head and smiled at her, "how are my girls?"

Joanne popped Clover up on her hip more and looked at me, "good."

"You look exhausted, honey." I said, worriedly.

Joanne turned and began walking toward the living room. I followed behind carefully and she sat on the couch, sitting Clover on her lap. Daphne got off of my back and sat against Joanne. I sat next to Daphne and my hand rested on Joanne's arm. She smiled softly and I couldn't help but smile, "did she make this plan to wake up at a certain time?"

Joanne shook her head, "it was a collaborative plan."

I raised an eyebrow and nodded my head, "you should go to bed."

She gave me a look and I sighed, putting a more serious look on my face, "at least for a little."

She shrugged and furrowed her eyebrows, "it's not like we're doing anything today."

I scratched the back of my head and took a deep breath, "Uhm, about that."

Her face dropped and she pushed her tongue against her cheek, "What did you plan without me this time?"

I cleared my throat and clicked my tongue against the roof of my mouth. Joanne was waiting for an answer, "an interviewer knew I'd be in California the next three days...he asked us to be on."

Joanne---for once, kept her composure. She smiled and I looked at her. Confusion fell across my face and I nodded my head, "so, will you get some sleep?"

She smirked and my heart skipped a beat, "as long as you'll sleep with me."

She got up with Clover in her hand and I practically ran upstairs. Daphne ran to her room, ready to sleep. I took my pants and my shirt off and crawled under the blanket. The door opened and Joanne crawled into bed, but I stopped her and made her stand back up. She was wearing a white fitted tank top and black over-sized sweatpants. I scooted over and placed my hand on her stomach, leaning down and kissing it. She ran her fingers through my hair and I looked up at her, my hand still placed on her stomach, "how's our boy doin'?"

She placed her hand on her back and began to climb into bed and I moved over, taking her into my arms, "he's good. This time around isn't so bad. It's just a bunch of back and foot pain."

I rubbed my hand over her stomach and I kissed her cheek, "I can rub your back."

Joanne moved and laid her head down on the pillow. I laid down, but pulled her close and her head was on my chest. It felt better like that. I ran my fingers through her hair and she placed her hand on my chest, "I'll wake you up, alright?"
