A second chapter post for this weekend! Like I said last time, I had a bunch of writing energy so I've written more than I was intending to. I can also at least say this would put us about a halfway mark through this current story. Anyway, hope you enjoy!

After tumbling and rolling around in the grass a bit, Dil then looked over at the tree in their yard, noticing all the yellow and orange leaves that were forming, as he then thought of an idea.

"Hey Savannah, lets pretend we're splorers and try and climbs the tree like we're climbing one in the drainforest." Dil suggested, crawling his way over to the tree as he stood up

"Ooh, I like being splorers like Dora, lets dos it!" Savannah excitedly jumped on the idea

Both toddlers then made their way over to the tree as they both looked up at it, a determined look on both their faces

"Alright splorer Savannah, we gots a tree to climb." Dil announced, turning to the tree

"Yeah! Lets do this!" Savannah cheered

Making their way over to the tree, each toddler took their attempts to climb the tree without too much success as they both slipped down the trunk of the tree with each attempt. With Dil's next attempt to climb the tree. Dil got a little higher only to begin slipping again. Trying to catch himself, Dil's hand scraped against the wood of the trunk at a weird angle causing some of the wood to cut through the palm of his hand a fair amount.

"Ouch!" Dil cried out, as he fell backwards onto his bottom, examining his hand

"Dil, are you okays?" Savannah asked, running over to investigate her friend's sudden cry in pain

That's when both Dil and Savannah noticed the cut on Dil's palm, blood slowly dribbling out of it as Savannah let out a gasp.

"Oh no, you gots another boo boo." Savannah frowned, feeling bad, especially after she, albeit halfheartedly, promised Tommy she'd make sure Dil wouldn't get hurt again

"I'll be okays, but I don't think Tommy is going to be too happy when he finds out that I gots another one." Dil sighed heavily at the thought of the sheer panic his brother would probably have knowing that he had gotten hurt once again.

"Come on, let's see if your mommy can at least get you another sticky so all your blood doesn't come outs." Savannah said, helping Dil up off the ground

Nodding in agreement, Dil followed Savannah as they made their way into the house to find Didi. Didi was currently in the kitchen, making some chicken nuggets for the kids' dinner as she placed the tray of nuggets into the oven.

"There we go, it shouldn't be too long now." Didi said, closing the oven door.

Turning to get the table set up, she let out a yelp when she noticed Dil and Savannah suddenly at her feet.

"Kids, what are you- Oh dear, did you get another cut sweetie?" Didi questioned, taking notice of the cut on Dil's palm when he held out his hand. "Come here sweetie, mommy will make it all better." Didi responded, picking up Dil from the floor

Carrying him off to the bathroom, Didi grabbed the first aid kit and tended to Dil's wound like before. After finishing up with Dil, Didi checked to make sure Savannah didn't have any injuries as well as she took them into the living room to play for the rest of the time until dinner. Soon dinner time had come as Dil and Savannah got to enjoy some chicken nuggets with some apple juice. Meanwhile it was also dinner time over at the Finster's place as Tommy, Chuckie, and Kimi all sat at the table.

Tommy, however, was more concerned about Dil's wellbeing. What if Dil had gotten hurt again while he wasn't there? Sure, he was having fun being with Chuckie and Kimi, but at the same time he really wanted to go home and check up on his younger brother. As Kira brought out plates of spaghetti for each of them, Tommy then thought of an idea to possibly get him home without outright saying he wanted to. As Kira set the plate in front of Tommy, Tommy responded by pushing the plate away, refusing to touch the contents, maybe if Kira and Chas saw that he was sick then maybe they'd call his mommy and she'd come and get him.

Noticing his friend not eating, Chuckie slurped up a pasta noodle before questioning Tommy.

"Don't you wants to eat your pasghetti, Tommy? It's really good!" Chuckie asked, taking another bite

"Yeah! Our mommy makes it the bestest." Kimi added

"Oh uh, i'm just not that hungry right now you guys." Tommy replied with a sheepish grin

Both Chas and Kira did take notice of Tommy's lack of appetite and even attempted to get him to eat a little. Eventually, after a couple failed attempts, they stopped trying to feed him as they shrugged it off as maybe he wasn't up to eating spaghetti tonight. After dinner, the trio were put into their pjs as they all went to lie down in Chuckie's bed for the evening.

"Are you sure you're okays, Tommy?" Chuckie asked again

"Yeah...I'm just worried about Dil getting another boo boo is all." Tommy replied

"Tommy, Dil's a big baby he'll be okays." Kimi assured the other purple haired two year old

"Yeah...maybe." Tommy said, letting out a hesitant sigh. He just hoped his brother and Savannah hadn't gotten themselves into any trouble.

Back over at the Pickles' place, dinner time had finished up with no issues as Didi saw to getting Dil and Savannah ready for bed. Getting them into their pjs, Didi then laid them both into Dil's crib as she bid them both good night. Upon seeing Didi leave the room, Dil let out a somewhat sad sounding sigh as he looked at his hand in the darkness.

"What's wrong Dil?" Savannah asked, sitting up from her side of the crib

"Tommy's never gonna let me haves any fun ever agains once he finds out that I gotted this boo boo too. Sometimes I wish that I was the biggerer brother instead of the littler one then I wouldn't have to worry about no one stopping me from having all the funs I want." Dil answered, looking up at the mobile that hung from the side of his crib.

"Hmm, it'd be kind of neat to see how things would be all different if you were the big brother." Savannah hummed, lying back down in the crib as she let out a yawn.

"Yeah, if only I could bes the biggerer brother." Dil replied, also letting out a yawn

Soon the two toddlers began drifting off to sleep fairly quickly as they both soon fell into a deep slumber. At that same time, Dil began having a very interesting dream; it was a dream that he had asked to come true.

Will Dil's wish of being the older brother come true? What will Dil's dream be about? Find out next time!
