Heyo everyone! Hope you had a great weekend and a Happy Thanksgiving! Here's the next chapter hope you all enjoy! Thanks again to Celrock for the ideas given to me by her that made this and many of the other stories I've written possible.

Following breakfast, Didi got the boys dressed and ready to go out as they were all gathered by the front door, Tommy in Stu's arms while Dil was in Didi's.

"Bye bye Sweetie, hope you enjoy spending time with daddy." Didi said, giving Tommy a kiss on the forehead

"Same goes for you Dilster, have fun with mommy." Stu chuckled, ruffling Dil's hair

With that Stu took off first out the door with Tommy, taking him and placing him in his car seat before climbing in the driver's seat. As Stu backed out of the driveway, Didi waved them off as she then quickly checked to make sure she had everything.

"Lets see, keys, list, wallet. Great, that should be everything!" Didi said, locating all her belongings she needed. "Alright sweetie, off to the store we go."

Stepping out and closing the front door behind her, Didi locked the door before heading over to her car. Before long, they were off to their destination as well: The supermarket! Both boys were still a bit cranky about the incident that had occurred just a little while ago but were at least relieved that they wouldn't have to see each other for a little while. After taking a short drive, it wasn't long before Didi had pulled into the supermarket parking lot, circling around until she found a parking spot to finally park in. Didi then got out as she walked to the backside of the car to unbuckle and pick up DIl from his carseat as she made her way inside the store.

"Okay sweetie, are you ready to shop with mommy?" Didi asked Dil sweetly as she placed him in a shopping cart seat.

Dil wasn't all that enthusiastic about a trip to the store, especially since he's been to the store plenty of times before with his mom and Tommy. Dil could only boredly watch as Didi began taking her walk through the store to locate what she needed. Of course, Dil remembered all the times before when they had come where their mom would allow Tommy to get some of his favorite things on his own like: Reptar cereal, apple juice, and bananas. It did always seem to make their mom happy to see Tommy happily doing things on his own, especially now that he was able to say more things besides Reptar. Passing by the cereal aisle, Dil spotted the newest Reptar display the supermarket had placed out as he looked at it in awe. It was too bad Tommy wasn't there, he would have loved seeing the display.

Feeling a bit bad that his brother wasn't there to see the display, Dil decided to at least maybe grab some more Reptar cereal for him so he could have it. Of course, the moment Dil reached for the cereal as Didi pushed the cart by the display, Didi stopped him.

"No, no sweetie, we already have Reptar cereal at home." Didi said, gently moving Dil's hand away from the boxes of cereal on the display

Dil just frowned as Didi pushed the shopping cart away from the cereal display to finish up grabbing what she needed and heading to the checkout line. Even after all that happened that morning, Dil did still wish Tommy had been there to see what he had seen. Dil just sighed, a trip to the supermarket just wasn't the same without Tommy being there as well. Finishing up checking out, Didi grabbed each of the bags and placed them back in the shopping cart before heading back out to the car. After getting everything inside the car, she placed Dil in his car seat as she made her way back to their home.

After another short trip, Didi had made it back to the residence as she grabbed Dil and the bags, heading inside the house. Setting Dil down in the living room, Didi went ahead to switch on the tv for Dil to watch for a little bit.

"Here you go sweetie, you stay here while mommy gets these put away for her cooking later." Didi said, taking off towards the kitchen.

Dil, of course, was content with watching T.V. especially being able to watch Goober without having to fight for the remote with Tommy. Meanwhile Didi had begun putting away her various items when the phone began to ring.

"Oh my who could that be?" Didi questioned, walking over to the phone on the wall as she picked it up to answer, "Hello, Pickles' residence."

"Oh hi Didi, it's Ebony, listen you wouldn't happen to have any extra garlic powder? Between watching the kids and making sure we have everything prepared we must have forgotten to pick up another bottle on our last grocery trip." Ebony asked through the other end of the line

"Oh of course, let me just finish putting this stuff away and I'll be right over." Didi replied

"Great, thank you so much." Ebony thanked

"It's no problem." Didi said as both then hung up the phone

Getting the rest of her groceries put away, Didi then looked through the cabinet as she grabbed the bottle of garlic powder. Making her way back into the living room, Didi picked up Dil as she shut off the T.V.

"Sorry sweetie, but we're going to take a quick trip over to Savannah's place." Didi apologized, cradling Dil in her arms

Stepping out of the front door once again, Didi made her way across the street to the Green's house as she knocked on the door. After a brief moment of waiting, Alan answered the door.

"Hey Didi, come on in, Eb is in the kitchen." Alan said, stepping aside to allow Didi in

"Thank you, hope everything is going well with the preparations. I know it's a lot to handle. You should have seen the mess we had last time." Didi chuckled

"Oh yeah? I wouldn't think it'd be that bad." Alan replied, walking with Didi to the kitchen

"It was a mess, Stu and Drew were arguing over some football game, Betty, Charlotte, and my mother were all up in arms about how we should have cooked the turkey. And not to mention our Turkey was actually a live one that Pop had won." Didi explained, shaking her head at the memory of that particular Thanksgiving

"Yikes, sounds like you all did have an eventful Thanksgiving." Alan responded

"Indeed we did. Luckily not only did the guys decide on one game this year and with you all hosting we don't have to worry about a live turkey running around the yard again. Pretty sure Pop ended up giving the Turkey to his friend Big Red and he took it up to his ranch especially since the babies had made friends with him." Didi continued explaining

"Haha, good to hear." Alan chuckled as he and Didi entered the kitchen

In the kitchen, Ebony was currently stirring something in a bowl as Samayah sat in her highchair babbling away as she bonked her rattle against the tray. Savannah was also there playing with various pots and pans on the floor.

"Hey Didi." Ebony greeted, turning to greet the red head

"Hey Ebony, got that garlic powder you needed." Didi said, shaking the bottle in her free hand

"Great, you can go ahead and set it on the countertop." Ebony beamed, gesturing towards the countertop next to her.

Nodding, Didi then made her way over to the kitchen counter as she placed down the bottle.

"You know, if you two would like, I can watch Savannah and Samayah so you can focus on cooking." Didi offered

"Oh no we couldn't burden you with watching our kids, I'm sure you have plenty of things to do on your own today." Ebony shook her head

"It's really no trouble, especially since Tommy is with Stu for the day. I'm sure Dilly would love to be able to play with Savannah. I was thinking of taking him to the park." Didi replied

"I mean if you're sure..." Ebony muttered

"Of course, they're such wonderful children." Didi nodded

"Well alright." Ebony smiled

Setting down the bowl on the counter top, Ebony washed her hands and quickly scooped up Savannah and Samayah to get them ready to leave with Didi. Didi went to wait by the front entrance while Ebony did so as a few minutes passed. Coming back down stairs, Ebony then walked with Didi back across the street to help Savannah, Dil, and Samayah all in the car.

"Now you behave for Didi sweetie, okay." Ebony said, giving Savannah a kiss on the forehead

With that, after getting all the kids buckled in, Ebony waved off Didi as she pulled out of the driveway once again to head towards the park.

Will Dil and Savannah have a fun time at the park? Find out next time!
