Tommy Pickles: The Terrible Twos (Series; Pt 1)

Is Savannah Ready? Pt 8

Happy weekend and happy mother's day to everyone! Hope your weekend has gone well. Anyway here's the next chapter, hope you all enjoy.

"Afters that I trieded my bestest to make sure I went in the potty when I hads to go and even at least tries to go when mommy or daddy askeded mes if I had to gos even when I didn't really feels like I had to gos. It's not that fun to have to stops playing, but mommy did tells me that it's betterer to stops playing and go rights away and once I'm done I can go rights back to playing. I thinks after another day or two I was finally able to uses the potty without having any asadents at all and was finally ready to kiss my training pants bye bye for good.

My mommy and daddy sawed that I didn't have anymore asadents over those two days and cided that I could finally being like a bigger kid and wears undiewear. So laterer after breakfast we wents back to the store and I pickded out my own undiewear and it was the bestest feeling in the world to knows that I was a little bits more growed up. After thats, daddy paid for my new undiewear and once we gots back home, mommy and I wents to the bathroom where she helpeded me opens my new undiewear. That's when I takeded off my training pants for the lastest time and put on my undiewear for the very firstest time." Kimi giggled happily at the memory of taking her next step to getting older.

"Wow, that's neat!" Savannah said in awe. "I never would thinks there'd be so much stuffs involving potty training, but it does sound kind of asciting to feels like you're a little bit more growed up."

"Uh huh, I remember being so ascited that when everyone gots to come over and plays laterer I showeded off how I was finally a big kid and could be knowns as an anybody nows." Kimi beamed.

"If I member right, I thinks seeing your undiewear is parts of why Lil wanted to hurry up and gets potty trained." Tommy commented

"Oh yeah, I member thats, I ended up helping Lil outs a lot while she was potty training." Kimi nodded in agreement with the memory.

As the babies continued their conversation, Kira and Chas finished up telling their version of the story to the adult group.

"I believe after that day in the store, we saw Kimi really making an effort to get to the potty on time. Over the next two days after that, I think maybe we had one incident of her having an accident but besides that she was dry all of those two days." Chas explained

"Yes! I remember telling her how proud we were that she was using the potty. Especially since, like we mentioned before, she's a very active little one and doesn't necessarily like to stop playing. That's also why I did remind her that, even if she really doesn't want to stop playing, she should always go to the bathroom right away if she had to go. She understood and followed swimmingly through the rest of her training." Kira continued after Chas

"Uh huh, and after that second day of no accidents, we decided it was time for her to make her full transition. That next morning, after breakfast, we took her back to the store where we let her choose her own underwear. Once we were home again, Kira helped her get changed into them and the rest is history. Our little girl had finally achieved the next step closer to adulthood." Chas said

"That's great, I'm glad Kimi had a pretty easy time transitioning to the potty. Honestly, just knowing there's several ways to go about this is nice to know." Ebony replied

"Oh yes, you just have to find what would work best. Lipschitz says that one method doesn't always fit the same child." Didi commented

Before anyone could say anything more, the doorbell buzzed once again as Didi quickly moved to the front foyer to answer it. Betty was the one at the door holding Phil over her shoulder with Lil standing next to her as she held her hand.

"Hey Betty, rough morning?" Didi asked

"You're telling me, Howie had a doctor's appointment this morning so I had to wrestle these two into their clothes. Well mostly Philly but you know how he can be. Nothing a cup of joe won't fix." Betty answered, setting Phil down along with letting Lil's hand go as they sprinted off to the living room to meet up with their friends.

"Come on in, I can make you one real quick if you'd like, Ebony, Chas, and Kira are all in the kitchen right now. Ebony's thinking of starting potty training with Savannah and well, we've been telling her our kids' experiences." Didi explained, allowing Betty to come inside as both walked into the kitchen.

"Oh boy, I wouldn't want to relive those three weeks of potty training the twins. Well, Lil wasn't that bad, Phil is the one that mostly put up a fight." Betty sighed

"Morning Betty." Chas, Kira, and Ebony all greeted

"Mornin' here you're thinking of potty training your pup, Eb." Betty replied

"It's on the table, she's been showing some signs that she's ready." Ebony said with a nod

"I can tell you right now, you're going to have heck of an easier time with the girls. I don't know what it is, but boys are a little harder to get trained." Betty laughed, patting Ebony on the back

"I already know it's twice the work with two, but I take it you didn't have an easy time with them?" Ebony questioned

"I was lucky I got them potty trained by Chuckster's third birthday." Betty chuckled

"Hate to interrupt but Kira and I should be heading out to the Java Lava. Got to make sure everything is ready before opening time." Chas interrupted as he got up.

"Ah no worries Chas, you and Kira go on ahead. I'll be there soon." Betty replied, waving them off to go on ahead

"Yes, thanks again for watching Chuckie and Kimi, Didi. We appreciate it." Kira thanked Didi

"Oh it's no problem at all, you know I don't mind." Didi said with a grin

"Alright, call if you need us." Chas said

With that Chas and Kira headed out of the Pickles' residence to head to the Java Lava as Betty took a seat in one of the now vacant chairs. At the same time, Didi had flipped on the brewer as it did its work.

"Since I'm already here, I may as well tell ya the full story. Hoo boy lets see, it wasn't too long after the twins' second birthday, a couple days tops. I just remember taking a few days off from working at the Java Lava to at least get this whole process started together with Howie. Now Lil, she was all excited and eager to get started on potty training, Phil on the other hand was definitely not so eager to learn." Betty began to tell her experience with the twins.
