Happy weekend everyone! Apologies I did not get this out last night, I had taken a break to lay down due to a headache and ended up falling asleep right after. Either way I'm here now and I hope you all enjoy this chapter!

Soon the next morning came as Tommy and Dil went through their usual morning routine as they ate breakfast and were put into the living room to play for a while. Once they were left on their own inside the playpen, Dil decided to ask Tommy how this whole "not getting him to be afraid of baths" thing was going to work.

"So how are you gonna proves that the bathy toys aren't gonna come alive and eats us, Tommy?" Dil asked

"Easy! Come on, I'll shows ya." Tommy said, taking out his screwdriver from his shorts pocket

Unlocking the playpen, Tommy and Dil made their way out of the playpen as they toddled their way over to the stairs. Taking their time to climb up to the top, both boys eventually made it to the top of the stairs and over to the bathroom just as they both heard the sound of the doorbell ringing coming from downstairs and the sound of Didi emerging from her and Stu's bedroom.

"Coming!" Didi called out, coming out of the room

Not wanting to get caught, both Tommy and Dil quickly made their way into the bathroom making sure to close the door enough to not get themselves stuck inside but enough that it wouldn't be suspected they were hiding in there. Even so, if anything, they'd just think Tommy went off to use the potty once again. Unknowing to them both, Ebony has just dropped off Savannah for the day as Didi greeted her and Savannah at the door. Both moms were chatting away as Ebony set down Savannah to toddle off into the house. Of course, Savannah noticed quickly there was no sign of Dil or Tommy outside or anywhere downstairs. Thinking they may be up in their room, Savannah then began making her way over to the stairs to locate her friends. Meanwhile, figuring the cost was clear by now, Tommy decided to continue with helping his brother.

"Okay Dilly, now I can shows yous that you don't have to worry about nothing." Tommy said, walking over to the sink.

Tommy pushed the small stool for him over to the side of the bathtub near the faucet. Next he went over to the small bin near the tub that held their bath toys now as he picked up a few and tossed them in the tub. Once the toys were inside the tub, Tommy went back over to the stool as he gestured for Dil to follow along. Dil, still hesitant about the whole idea, slowly made his way over to the stool, climbing up as well, as he stared at the bath toys at the bottom of the tub floor.

"See Dilly, they're not alive or going to eats us." Tommy said to his brother

However, Dil wasn't convinced in the slightest in this case, to him the toys could just be sleeping and could come alive at any moment, especially if they turned on the water.

"I don't knows, what if they're just sleeping." Dil replied

Rolling his eyes with a sigh, Tommy climbed his way into the tub as he found the drain stopper to put into the drain. Maybe if he filled up the tub and let the toys sit, he could show Dil they weren't going to get them. At the same time, Savannah had pushed the bathroom door open as she made her way into the bathroom.

"Hey guys, whatcha doing in heres?" Savannah asked, slightly confused as to why the two brothers were playing in the bathtub

"Oh hi Savannah, we're just going to fill up the bathys with water!" Tommy explained

"Why? Is your mommy or daddy giving you guys a bathy?" Savannah asked again

"No, I just wanted to show Dilly something." Tommy answered as he attempted to climb his way back out with Dil's help.

"Neat." Savannah replied as she toddled her way over to the side of the bathtub

"Okay, I'm going to turn on the water nows." Tommy calmly said

With that Tommy turned the faucet handle as the water began to fill up the bathtub. The trio watched as the tub slowly filled with water as they toys inside began to bob back and forth as the water rose.

"See Dilly, you have nothing to worry abouts. It's the water in the bathy that makes them looks like they're moving by themselves." Tommy reassured his brother

Dil closely watched the toys as they bobbed about in the tub, they really didn't seem like they were alive like all the other times they were in the tub with him and his brother.

"Uh Tommy, maybe you should stops the water from filling the bathy all the way up?" Savannah suggested, seeing as the tub was now over half way filled with water

"Oh yeah, Chuckie's daddy didn't likes that when it happened afore when we were trying to plug up the drain." Tommy nodded, turning off the water just before it reached the top of the tub

"You trieds to plug up the drain?" Savannah questioned

"Uh huh, I told Dilly abouts this but a long time agos I thoughts I could gets sucked down the drain after my army guy did so Chuckie and I tried to plug it up forever. But when we finally gotted our bathy and I pulled the plug thingy we founded out you can't go down the drain and biggerer toys can't neither." Tommy explained as he eyed the drain in the tub. "I'll shows yous."

Trying to reach for the drain stopper, Tommy reached his arm down in the warm tub water. However, he couldn't reach it quite as well as he continued to try and grab the stopper. Leaning over the tub side, Tommy accidentally lost his balance as he slipped into the bathtub with a splash, splashing water on both DIl and Savannah in the process getting the wet.

Savannah reacted negatively to getting splashed by the water, trying to use her shirt to at least wipe off her face as she ended up stumbling backwards from the stool as she fell onto the floor. As a result of not only being wet but from falling, Savannah began crying.

"Tommy!" Dil, at the same time, yelled out looking into the bath wanting to help his brother.

However, in Dil's mind the toys had come alive once again as the image of Tommy trying to stay afloat appeared in Dil's mind while the toy shark had come alive once again and was heading straight for Tommy. This of course caused Dil to freeze up as he shook in fear. For Tommy, the brief moment of being submerged under the water brought back his memories of the trip he had with his grandpa once before where he slipped and fell into the river. Luckily, he resurfaced from beneath the water as he took a gasp of air and coughed up any water he had swallowed upon falling in. Being just as shakened as the other two, Tommy also did the only thing he could think of as he began sobbing as well.

Will Dil ever be able to get over his fears? Find out next time!
