After a short trip, the kids and their dads along with Betty all returned to the cabin. Letting the kids go inside first to ensure they got warm, especially after playing out in the cold and snow, the adults then helped get the Christmas tree inside and over by the corner where they wanted to set it up.
"Alrighty, we got ourselves a genuine Christmas tree freshly cut and ready to be put up. Now you guys hold 'er steady so we can get it in the stand." Betty said, going to quickly grab the tree stand and putting it in place on the floor
While Betty and the dad's all got the tree set up in the stand, Didi, Lucy, and Ebony took on the job of getting the kids out of their outdoor wear so they could dry from the snow.
"Did you kids have a fun time playing in the snow?" Lucy asked the group
"Uh huh!" The toddlers, with the obvious exception of Dil and Savannah, all answered and were understood
"We had lots of fun, mommy! We made snow angels and had a snowball fight and we even tried to make an igloo." Susie explained the various things they all did while all playing out in the snow
"Isn't that lovely, I'm glad you all had fun." Ebony said with a grin, taking a couple of the kids coats to go and hang up
"Alrighty, now you kids play nicely. Once the Christmas tree is up you all can help decorate it." Didi said, helping take off Dil's hat, gloves, shoes, and coat
With Lucy, Didi, and Ebony all walking off with the collection of kid sized outdoor wear to put them away, the babies were left to entertain themselves. By this point, Samayah was awake, as she was getting some tummy time on a playmat that Ebony brought along, by the tv where Lou and Lulu, who were supposed to be watching him, both were sitting on the couch fast asleep. Finding themselves wandering over to the couch, the babies all sat on the floor to watch what was on the tv, which was currently showing the fishing channel at the moment. Tommy, of course, reached up on the couch to grab the remote from next to Lou.
"I'm sure my grandpa and grandma won't minds if we watched something else." Tommy said
"Ooh can we watch those Christmas moosicals they always show?" Lil asked
"Nuh uh, I wanna watch Reptar!" Phil butted in
"Moosical!" Lil argued
"Reptar!" Phil argued back
"Guys! We don't even know if those are even on right nows." Tommy said, the clicking the change channel button
Seeing the various channels flip by led the group of toddlers to start up another song.
On the first day of Christmas, we watched on T.V. A Mommy kissin' Santa's Missin' Toe

On the 3rd day of Christmas, we watched on T.V MTV, Nickelodeon, and a Mommy kissin' santa's missin' toe

On the 5th day of Christmas, we watched on T.V. GROWNUPS BUYING THINGS, Some guy wit a Scrooge, MTV, Nickelodeon, and a Mommy kissin' Santa's Missin' Toe
On the 6th Day of Christmas, we watched on T.V. 6 shopping networks, GROWNUPS BUYING THINGS, some guy wit a scrooge, MTV, Nickelodeon, and a Mommy Kissin' Santa's Missin' toe
On the 7th Day of Christmas, we watched on T.V Christmas cartooons, 6 shopping networks, GROWNUPS BUYING THINGS, some guy wit a scrooge, mtv, nickelodeon, and a mommy kissin' santa's missin' toe
On the 8th day of Christmas, we watched on T.V. 8 toy commercials, christmas cartooons, 6 shopping networks, GROWNUPS BUYING THINGS, some guy wit a scrooge, MTV, Nickelodeon, and a mommy kissin' santa's missin' toe
On the 9th Day of Christmas, we watched on T.V 9 Holiday specials, 8 toy commericals, christmas cartooons, 6 shopping networks, GROWNUPS BUYING THINGS, some guy wit a scrooge, mtv, nickelodeon, and a mommy kissin' santa's missin' toe
On the 10th Day of Christmas, we watched on T.V 10 Booger Dumb Fairies, 9 Holiday specials, 8 toy commercials, christmas cartooons, 6 shopping networks, GROWNUPS BUYING THINGS, some guy wit a scrooge, mtv, nickelodeon, and a mommy kissin' santa's missin' toe
On the 11th day of Christmas, we watched on T.V 11 Infomercials, 10 booger dumb fairies, 9 Holiday specials, 8 toy commericals, christmas cartooons, 6 shopping networks, GROWNUPS BUYING THINGS, some guy wit a scrooge, mtv, nickelodeon, and a mommy kissin' Santa's missin' toe
On the 12th day of Christmas, we watched on T.V 12 Christmas carolers, 11 Informercials, 10 booger dumb fairies, 9 Holiday Specials, 8 toy commercials. christmas cartooons, 6 shopping networks, GROWNUPS BUYING THINGS, some guy wit a scrooge, mtv, nickelodeon, and a mommy kissin' santa's missin' toe
Of course, by the end of their song, no one was actually watching anything at all but rather fighting over the T.V remote itself. Overhearing the commotion caused Lou to stir as he awoke seeing the bundle of toddler's fighting over the remote.
"Wow there sprouts, I'll be taking that." Lou chuckled, taking the remote away as he just flipped to the channel to some random Christmas cartoon special. "There you go, that should keep you all occupied for a little bit."
In a blink, all the babies were invested in the Christmas cartoon special as they quietly watched it. Before long the Christmas tree was properly up in the stand and ready to be decorated as Betty came over to stand in front of the T.V.
"Alright pups, who's ready to decorate a Christmas tree?" Betty asked with a chuckle
Hearing that it was finally time to decorate the Christmas tree, the babies lit up in excitement getting up to make their way over to the tree. Following behind them, Didi came over with a box filled with Christmas themed shatterproof ornaments for the babies to put on the bottom of the tree.
"Here we are, now you kids can put these on the bottom part of the tree while we finish putting up the decorations on the walls." Didi explained, taking a candy cane shaped ornament and hanging it on one of the branches to show an example
Picking up quickly, the babies each started taking the ornaments from the box to hang them on the tree. Seeing they weren't having any issues, Didi then got up to go back with helping the others put up the Christmas lights throughout the cabin.
