Hello hello everyone! Apologies for the late post, got caught up in a video game event with friends and ended up playing with them until it was very late Sunday evening. Either way here's the next chapter! Hope you all enjoy!

Another week had gone by in the Rugrats' neighborhood as the days passed by peacefully with nothing really eventful happening. As usual, the babies all found themselves in Tommy's living room for the afternoon as they all sat on or near the couch watching whatever cartoon was on at the time. Seeing as it was a decent way into the afternoon meant that it would be close to time for the group to be picked up by their parents. Wanting to remind the kids of this, Didi stepped into the living room only to notice that the living room had many toys scattered amongst the room, leaving it a bigger mess than usual. Sighing, Didi shook her head at the sight of the mess; however she did see this as a good opportunity to teach the kids that they have to clean up their toys.

"Oh kids, it's almost time for you to leave. How about we help Tommy and Dil clean up all their toys before we go home for Aunt Didi? It would be very helpful, especially since you all are getting so big." Didi suggested, hoping that with the knowledge that they'd be praised for their help would be enough motivation to get the kids to at least clean up some of the mess.

Looking at each other, of course they all didn't really want to stop watching cartoons but, at the same time, especially in the older toddlers' case, they were really happy to know that their parents were starting to treat them like big kids and letting them help with things.

"Come on guys, let's help cleans up!" Kimi exclaimed, shooting up from her spot on the couch, she especially didn't mind helping out the grownups whenever possible

Luckily, one by one, each of the babies followed Kimi's footsteps, as they all got up to start cleaning up the toys in the living room and placing them back in, or near, the toy chest in the playpen. Happy to see the kids so willing to help, Didi decided it'd be a good idea to get them all a treat to reward them for their work once they were finished. Turning, Didi quickly took a step into the kitchen to grab some Reptar bars from the pantry, mostly to make sure there were enough to go around. However, while the group was willing to clean up the mess of toys, it didn't stop the few complaints from coming out.

"Aw man, why do we haves to clean up all these toys?" Phil whined

"Yeah, our mommies and daddies usually are the ones that picks up all the stuffs not us." Lil chimed in as she picked up a couple of the toy blocks

"Oh come on you guys, it's not that bad. Like I says, a clean room is a happy room." Chuckie replied

"Chuckie's right, asides I heards from Angelica and Susie one time that since we're getting biggerer and having more sponsatilities we're going to have to do big kid things like cleaning ups our own toys when our mommy and daddy askes up to." Tommy added in, agreeing with Chuckie's statement.

"I likes when we helps out our mommies and daddies! It makes me feels all warm and fuzzy insides!" Kimi beamed, tossing one of the stuffed animals into the box

"Oh yeah, that is really nice." Lil replied

The other babies murmured in agreement before going back to cleaning up the toys. Even Samayah was doing her best to help as she flopped forward onto her stomach to army crawl her way towards one of the stuffed animals on the floor as she grabbed it and rolled onto her back. She had gotten better at sitting up since then but of course she still struggled slightly. However, this time she manage to get up without any help after a moment.

"Bananah! Me help too!" Samayah called out to her sibling, getting her attention as she held out the teddy bear

"Oh, thanks Mayah!" Savannah said, grabbing the toy from her younger sister

"Yay! Me help!" Mayah giggled, clapping her hands.

Meanwhile, at the same time, Stu had just come up from the basement with his latest invention, a small flying Dactar toy that look similar to the giant Dactar he used to fly through the forest to help look for the kids not long after Dil's birth when they had gotten lost all night out there. Of course this one was one that could be remote controlled and hopefully could be a big seller amongst kids. Wanting to test it out, Stu proceeded to take a step outside to test the toy for a little bit. Setting the toy in the grass, Stu powered it on along with the remote control as he began flying it around the yard with ease. However, after a moment, something in the remote control short circuited as the toy began flying faster and out of control as it began flying sporadically around the outside of the house and outside of Stu's sight lines

"Yikes, that's not good!" Stu exclaimed, trying to regain control of the toy

Unknowing to him, after the toy circled the house, it ended up flying through the living room window that was opened by Didi at some point in the day to let in fresh air, as it zipped above the kids heads. Before any of the babies could really react, the toy ended up bumping into the tall standing lamp that stood in the corner of the living room, knocking it over as the light bulb smashed, as it then managed to fly out of the house again before Didi quickly could enter the room to investigate the crash.

"Oh dear, what a mess." Didi murmured, picking up Samayah so she couldn't get into the glass while ushering the kids quickly into the playpen

At the same time Stu, unaware of what his toy just caused, saw the toy zip around the house once more as he luckily got the remote control to work once again getting the toy to land. Powering it and the remote control off, Stu shook his head realizing there were still some bugs to fix as he picked up the toy and went back inside. Of course, he immediately witnessed Didi frantically trying to get the kids into the playpen and the broken lamp bulb pieces as he stopped in his tracks, asking Didi what happened.

"What happened here?" Stu asked

"Oh, looks like one of the kids bumped into the lamp while trying to clean up. Can you clean up the glass while I make sure I get the rest of these toys cleaned up?" Didi explained, asking for Stu's help

"Sure thing Deed, give me a second and I'll grab the broom and vacuum." Stu replied, going back downstairs to put his invention back down on the workbench

However, the babies could only stare in shock as they were blamed for a mess that they clearly didn't make.
