Heyo everyone! Happy Friday, I'm back again with the next chapter pretty early. I will also be going ahead and posting another chapter in a little bit after this one goes up seeing as I most likely won't get a chance to post the next following weekend. But we'll see who knows. Anyway here's the next chapter!

After their game of adventure squad, the toddlers all had their lunches and naps. The rest of the afternoon was mostly uneventful as everyone ended up going home when it was time for their parents to pick them up. Tommy ended up falling asleep pretty early for his normal bedtime from all the playing he and his friends had done earlier leaving Dil to sit and watch T.V downstairs with Stu. Like the previous night, Dil of course didn't whine or fuss about what was on the T.V. letting his father watch what he wanted. Stu flipped through several channels before finally settling on one that was right in the middle of a commercial break. Just as Stu sat down the remote, the doorbell buzzed as Didi went over to the front foyer to answer.

"Oh Pop, what are you doing here?" Didi asked, opening the door to find Lou carrying a bowl

"Hey Didi, don't mind me stopping by, I just bought back your mixing bowl that Lulu borrowed a little while back." Lou explained

"Why thank you Pop, wanna say hi to Stu and Dil real quick? They're just in the living room. Tommy's already gone off to bed but I won't stop you from popping in for a quick hello." Didi asked, stepping aside to allow Lou in

"Sure. I won't disturb Tommy though, these youngins need all the sleep they can get." Lou chuckled, taking a step inside

Making his way into the living room, Lou stepped up behind the couch to see Stu invested in the show that had just come back on from break.

"Heh, a show about used cars. You couldn't be on that one, you'd probably get scammed out of those cars just like you almost did getting a deal on the minivan." Lou teased, patting Stu on the shoulder

"Don't remind me..." Stu huffed in embarrassment, not wanting to recall that incident

"Aw I'm just messing with ya. Anyway, anything else Lulu and I should bring for the spring cookout?" Lou asked

As Stu and Lou continued talking about the upcoming events planned, Dil continued watching the used car show until he found himself starting to grow sleepier and sleepier by the minute. Soon Dil dozed off on the couch next to his father as he curled up on the couch. The next thing Dil knew, he had woken up in what looked like a similar car dealership that he saw on the T.V. In fact, it was the same one that Stu had gotten the minivan from months before. Of course, it was partially distorted due to Dil only remembering bits and pieces of the place. That, however, wasn't the only thing Dil found odd as he squirmed in whatever carseat like structure was containing him. Dil then noticed that he wasn't wearing any clothes, not even a diaper! This sudden notice caused Dil to slightly panic seeing as well, he remembered what happened the first and only time he went through his clothes shedding phase and he did not want to relive the moments he had accidents. Trying to figure out what was happening, Dil continued to squirm in the car seat as he spotted Stu talking to a car salesman in the distance. Dil started to whine and fuss, hoping to get his dad's attention. However, he stopped when he heard the conversation his dad and the salesman were having.

"Ah I see you have last year's model of Dil. He's not very popular, too many problems according to other customers." The salesman commented

"I noticed. I've gotten Tommy before and he's great, not many issues at all." Stu replied

"Yes, yes, no surprise there. Tommy is very popular, everyone loves him." The salesman nodded

Dil was confused at first as he listened to the two adults speak before realizing that they were talking about him and Tommy like they were...cars?

"Yeah, Dil just isn't doing it for me. First we got the diapers, they smell so bad despite everything we tried. He doesn't move as far as Tommy on a single bottle like I hoped. Honestly, I don't think he's doing well in our family, he's more trouble than he's worth." Stu complained, listing off all the things "wrong" with Dil.

"Don't worry, Mr. Pickles. I'll cut you a deal. You trade in your old model Dil and I'll let you have this nice new model that just arrived off the line." The salesman offered, removing a white sheet off another Dil in a car seat

"Ooh, What features does this newer model have?" Stu asked, interested to know what the "new" Dil was like.

"Oh you'll quite like this one. No diapers needed. He can run and dance around at any time under voice command. Even eats normal food and drinks from a sippy cup just like the Tommy model. And of course we tweaked a few other things as well. Overall a much better experience." The salesman answered, showing Stu the features of the new Dil

"Sir, you have yourself a deal!' Stu exclaimed, shaking the man's hand as he picked up the new Dil's car seat

The original Dil could only stare in shock as his dad started leaving him behind for another version of himself. Whimpering and whining, Dil tried to get Stu's attention and to get him to come back for him. However, Dil could only sadly watch as Stu carried the new Dil out to his family showing him off to Didi, Tommy, and Lou who all happily cheered at the sighting of the new Dil.

"Another great sale. Now to deal with you. " The salesman said, clicking his tongue as he picked up Dil's car seat. "Hmm, maybe we can put you on a discount."

In the next moment, the salesman's voice warped until it turned into Angelica's voice.

"Maybe some family will be willing to pay cheap for such a bad dumb baby."

Dil then shot up in a cold sweat, breathing heavily as he looked around. Everything was back to normal, he was wearing his pajamas and he was in his crib. Dil could only let out a sigh of relief realizing it was just yet another nightscare.
