Tommy Pickles: The Terrible Twos (Series; Pt 1)

The Haunted Shopping Mall Pt 2

Hello hello everyone! Happy weekend, hope you all are doing well! Here's the next chapter and I hope you all enjoy!

Toddling off, both Dil and Savannah began making their way back to the front half of the store. However, they were in for an unexpected turn of events when they'd step foot outside of the toy store with the doll.

"There, that's the way out, come on!" Dil exclaimed, pointing to the exit

Savannah went on ahead before Dil as he readjusted his grip on the doll before running to catch up with his friend. As they took a step past the security alarms and out into the main walkway, they both jumped in surprise when the alarms from the store began blaring loudly.

"Why are those thingies by the door making a loud sound?!" Savannah asked, yelling at Dil so he could hear over the alarm

"I don't knows, but they're really loud! Come on, we gots to go backs to the store wheres everyone else is!" Dil yelled in response

Nodding, Savannah followed behind Dil as they began to make their way towards the elevator to go back downstairs in hopes to find Tommy. At the same time, with the alarms going off, meant that the current security officer that was on duty was alerted of a theft. In the security office, the male officer quickly looked over the footage, seeing Dil and Savannah leaving the store with the doll and taking off towards the elevator.

"Oh no you don't.." The officer huffed, quickly rising from his chair as he took off out of the office to make his way to where he supposed Dil and Savannah were heading,

Back with Dil and Savannah, the two made their way down the walkway, trying their best to not get run over and stepped on by the many adults and teens that were walking without fully paying attention to their surroundings. As the two toddlers were coming up to the elevator they were suddenly stopped in their tracks when the security officer stepped in their path.

"End of the line kiddos, we'll be taking you back to the toy store and finding your parents." The officer announced

"Uh oh, I guess my mommy noticed we were gones soonerer than we thoughts." Savannah murmured as Dil grabbed her hand

"Savannah, come on! We can't lets him catches us, we needs to gets downstairs!" Dil exclaimed, dragging the other toddler along

Running away as fast as they could, they could hear the whistle of the officer's being blown as he took chase. Bobbing and weaving between the various adults and teens, Dil and Savannah started running in the opposite direction of where they were trying to go.

"Where are we even going to goes? We can't goes back to the toy store or my mommy will finds us!" Savannah asked in a panic, wondering what the plan was

"Umm..." Dil pondered as they kept running as he spotted the laser tag gaming area. "Quick, we can loses him in here!"

Making a sudden right, Dil and Savannah began sprinting into the laser tag arena. Meanwhile, not expecting the toddlers to change directions, the officer had to skid to a stop and ended up crashing into a man carrying several bags for his wife causing the contents of the bags to go flying everywhere. Downstairs, the other moms were finishing up with clothes shopping with the rest of the Rugrats gang as they were leaving the store with their purchases. As they were leaving, Tommy was taken by surprise when he saw, out of the corner of his eye, that suddenly a pair of shoes landed nearby, bouncing away like they were walking. Confused, Tommy was going to say something to the other toddlers, wondering if they too witnessed the shoes, however he was quickly taken away from the area as Didi ushered him onward.

"Come on sweetie, we all still have to go upstairs to get you all some brand new shoe." Didi said, gently tugging Tommy's arm to get him to follow

Tommy, reluctantly, followed as he shot one more glance back at the shoes before he decided to let it go for now. At the same time, back up in the toy store, Ebony was frantically calling out for Dil and Savannah, asking others if they saw the two toddlers at all anywhere in the store. Seeing as no one had any idea of where the two toddlers were, Ebony quickly made her way out of the store to find security in hopes that whoever was working could help her find her daughter and her friend. Of course, spotting the officer down near the laser tag area who was still apologizing to the gentleman he crashed into, Ebony quickly went up to the officer to hopefully get his help.

Meanwhile, Dil and Savannah had ran deep into the arena as they hid behind one of the fake rocks to take a breath.

"I...don't thinks he followed us." Savannah said between breaths

"Good." Dil replied, taking a moment to sit down as he laid the doll down nearby

However, the twos' break to recover their stamina was short lived when several teens entered the arena, currently in the middle of their game of laser tag. Obviously unaware of the two toddlers, one of the teen males ended up running behind the rock where the kids were hiding as he ended up tripping on the doll on the floor causing his laser gun to go flying out of his hands. Unfortunately, this led to a chain reaction of events with the gun hitting another teen in the face causing them to stumble back into another person, which resulted in that individual to bump into one of the fake wall displays causing it to tip over.

As the wall tipped over, it ended up bumping into one of the hanging fixtures, pulling it and several other of the hanging fixtures down with a crash. Dil and Savannah could only watch in shock as everything around them, quite literally, came crashing down. Knowing they'd likely get in trouble, Dil and Savannah glanced at each other before Savannah scooped up the doll as the two quickly made their way out of the laser tag arena, luckily being blocked from Ebony and the security officers' vision by the crowd that had slightly gathered to see what the commotion was inside the arena. With this opportunity to escape, the two toddlers finally made their way to the elevator, managing to run inside with a few individuals that had already gathered in as the door closed behind them.
