Hello hello everyone! Hope you're all doing well! I'm back again with another chapter! I'd like to thank Mr. Chaos for the inital idea of the story while also thanking Celrock for other ideas that will be implemented. Anyway hope you all enjoy!
With preschool evaluations completed and out of everyone's minds for now only freed the Rugrats and their parents' minds for the next big exciting thing: Chuckie's 4th birthday! It was finally here! The party was all setup and ready at Ice Cream mountain with their new kids section filled with more kid friendly putt putt courses. Figuring that, not only would it be great for the kids to have more fresh air, but also allowing the few preschool-bound toddlers an activity to work on their motor skills. The adults all mingled with each other while the kids all began hitting around the golf balls with the putt putt sticks that were provided by the owner, Earl.
"Isn't this the greatest, Chuckeroo?" Tommy grinned, asking his best friend
"Uh huh! I can't waits till it's time to eats cake, I had my daddy gets me a rocket cake like the one seen in the Space Trek Babies show, and open all my presents toos." Chuckie replied with a giggle as he hit the golf ball into an empty cup the group had found.
As the kids continued playing, the adults were having their own conversation nearby about the party.
"The pups really seem to be enjoying themselves. You and Kira really outdone yourselves there Chazzy." Betty chuckled, patting Chas on the back
"Well it is our little guys' big 04, we wanted a great way he could have fun with all his friends." Chas commented, fixing his glasses that had slight slid off his face
"Yes, plus Chuckie's birthday is right before the pollen season starts getting particularly worse so this is one of the best times to let him enjoy outside without his allergies bothering him so much." Kira added in
"Yes, that's great to hear. Not to mention, playing activities like these can really help improve the motor skills they'll need." Didi complemented the idea
Unknowing to the party goers however, rain clouds began rolling in as the sky slowly got darker over the next few minutes. Of course, in the next moment Chuckie and the other toddlers were interrupted from their game as the toddlers began feeling droplets of water splash on their heads.
"Uh, guys, I thinks it's raining." Dil commented
"Oh no, if it rains then my birthday will be ruined! What are we gonna dos?!" Chuckie cried, concerned that the whole party was going to be over before it barely started
"Oh no, don't tell me it's raining!" Chas' also voiced his concern feeling the drops of rain fall on him
"Quick, gather up the party stuff and the kids before everything gets soaked!" Didi ordered as the adults all began scrambling to grab the various party decorations, gifts, cake, along with picking up the Rugrats.
"This is terrible, what are we going to do now?" Chas asked, picking up some of the gifts
Stu and Drew, who were also carrying gifts in hand, looked over at each other before nodding after having the same idea.
"I think Stuie and I know just the place. Come on, lets get everything packed up and we'll go ahead over there." Drew said with a grin
After getting everything collected and the kids in their carseats, everyone began to follow Drew's car as they drove over to a building that was familiar to all the Rugrats except Savannah as they pulled into the parking lot of Piggy's Pizza Palace.
"Chuckie, lookit! We're going to the Piggy Pizza place! That place is just as fun as the ice cream mountain!" Kimi exclaimed, patting her brother's arm to get his attention
"Oh wow, maybe my birthday is saveded after all!" Chuckie perked up, seeing as his party would be continuing in such a fun place.
Stu, Drew, and Chas all went inside first to get things settled with the manager of the place while Howard and Alan started collecting party stuff to bring inside the establishment and the moms all gathered the kids to quickly get them all inside. Luckily, being prepared, DIdi had a couple umbrellas in the trunk as she let everyone with a kid borrow one to keep them from getting wet. Heading inside the place, the remaining adults and kids looked around the place as Kira spotted Chas, Stu, and Drew.
"Kira over here!" Chas called out to his wife
"Oh there they are, come on Chuckie, Kimi-chan." Kira said, leading Chuckie and Kimi over to the three as the other parents followed suit
"We lucked out today." Stu commented
"Yeah, luckily it seems no one else has a party set up which means we can set up for Chuckie's party." Chas agreed with a nod as he went over to scoop up Chuckie. "Hear that big guy? Your party is back on!"
Chuckie beamed happily as he gave his dad a hug. Placing Chuckie back down, Chas and the rest of the adults all saw about getting everything inside and the kids settled in. At the same time, Chas and Stu saw to getting a couple of pizzas ordered so the kids could have something to eat. Seeing as there was only one large booth available, Betty ended up scooting a couple tables closer so everyone could have a seat nearby. Once the seating arrangements were settled, Betty, Howard, Phil and Lil took one of the tables while Ebony, Alan, Savannah and Samayah took the second. Drew, Charlotte, and Angelica took the third table while the Finsters and rest of the Pickles family decided to sit on each side of the booths with the seating arrangement happening to be set up to where Tommy, Stu, Kira and Kimi were on one side of the booth while Chuckie, Chas, Didi and Dil were on the other. Soon the pizzas were brought out as the adults all got the plates and napkins passed around before getting pizza slices cut and ready for the toddlers all to eat. Not long everyone was munching away at their pizza, however unknowingly to the Rugrats, another kid who was with his mother had noticed them from across the dining area. The kid peered over watching the group as he decided to wait till the others were allowed to play before approaching them.
