Heyo everyone! Hope you all are having a good weekend and I hope you enjoy this next chapter!

About a week had passed where nothing too eventful happened for the Rugrats and their families, just the usual playdates and trips to the playground. The kids were still enjoying playing in the many piles of leaves they encountered! By this point, it was close to the end of November soon to be December which meant most of the leaves on many of the trees had already fallen off. It also meant that Thanksgiving was coming very soon! The Greens already had plans of a Thanksgiving dinner as they invited the other parents over for the occasion on the day of. Ebony also requested everyone bring a dish they favored to the party for everyone to enjoy! With the plans in mind, everyone was going ahead and starting to prepare. Soon it was the day right before Thanksgiving.

This particular morning Tommy had woken up pretty early compared to normal. Seeing as he had woken up before his brother had, Tommy quietly made his way out of their room. After a quick trip to the bathroom for his routine morning potty break, Tommy then made his way downstairs and into the living room. He didn't mind having to play by himself for a little bit, there were plenty of things he could think of doing to pass the time!

"Hmmm." Tommy hummed to himself trying to pick out what he wanted to do in his head

That's when it clicked! In the next instance Tommy was making a wall out of their blocks scattered amongst the floor of the playpen building it high like it was a cave. In Tommy's mind the world had transformed, he was now Okey-Dokey Jones ready to embark on his next adventure into this cave.

Making his way through the cave, Tommy spotted something glistening in the back part of the cave as he carefully made his way over to the item in question. Finally getting close enough, Tommy could make out what the item was: a magic ring!

"Wow, this is the shiniest ring I ever sawed!" Tommy exclaimed, picking up the ring

In reality, the ring in question was actually a teething ring that belonged to Dil that their mother had gotten Dil not too long after the whole "biting through binkies" incident occurred after Dil started growing in a couple more teeth. Figuring he wouldn't mind him borrowing it at the moment, Tommy was now using the ring as a magic ring in his adventure. Now having the ring in hand, Tommy continued his exploration of the cave in search of the "treasures" that were hidden within the cave.

However, it wasn't long before Dil was starting to wake up himself as he groggily sat up in his crib. Rubbing his eyes and letting out a small yawn, Dil slowly started properly waking up. However, Dil quickly noticed something was off with himself. His gums were bothering him again, likely due to the other tooth that was still coming in from not too long ago.

(Dil's POV)

When I wakeded up, I could already feels my mouth hurting from my teeths. Luckily my mommy gotted me my toothy ring to bited instead of binkies as I couldn't bites a hole in my toothy ring. I crawleded over to the one side of my crib to gets the extra studriver I kepted there as I let myself out of my playpen. Last I knowed, my toothy ring was in the living room especially acause the last time I useded its, mommy putted it in the fridgedator and mades it all cold which helped made my mouth not hurts so much.

I was not ready to finded Tommy, not only already awake, but playing with my toothy ring like it was another regular old toy! That was my toothy ring and I needed it real bad right now, asides I didn't tells Tommy he could uses it neither! That's when I went over to Tommy, I wanted my toothy ring back.

"Tommy, that's my toothy ring." I said crossing my arms

"I know it is, Dilly, but I'm using it right now as the magic ring Okey-Dokey Jones founded in a cave." Tommy said to mes

If this was any other time I'd be okays with Tommy playing make believe but I really wanted my toothy ring and I wanted it nows!

"Gives it back, I needs it!" I yelled

"But Dil, I'll only needs it for a little bit more, can I just play with a teeny bit longer?" My brother asked me, but I wasn't gonna wait that teeny bit

"No, now gives me my toothy ring now!" I screamed as I tried to jumps and reaches for my toothy ring

(Normal POV)

Dil, without a second thought, lunged forward to try and grab the ring from Tommy's hands. His gums were killing him and he wasn't willing to negotiate at the moment. Not expecting his brother's sudden lunge, Dil ended up running straight into Tommy as both boys ended up toppling to the floor. A loud crash followed as the wall of blocks collapsed with them, one of the blocks flying off the top as it collided with Tommy's forehead. Upset, and in pain, both toddlers began crying, alerting both Stu and Didi.

Rushing into the living room, Stu and Didi both observed the mess of blocks and their two crying children as Stu picked up Tommy while Didi picked up Dil.

"Oh dear, it's okay mommy and daddy are here now." Didi comforted Dil trying to get him to calm down

"Sssh, it's alright champ." Stu said also trying to get Tommy to calm down

It didn't take too long for them both to get the boys to calm down for breakfast, however it was obvious that the two toddlers didn't want to be near one another at that moment. Observing this, and consulting her Liphschitz books, Didi sighed she had a decision to make as she brought it up with her husband.

"Maybe it's time for Tommy and Dil to have a day away from each other, Stu. Some time away from each other will do them some good." Didi suggested

"I know how that feels, I used to give anything to be away from Drew even if it were for a little while." Stu replied, actually agreeing with the idea. "Tell you what, I'll take Tommy with me to the mall today and you can take Dil when you go to the supermarket."

"That sounds like a great idea, honey. I do need to get these ingredients so I'll have everything ready by tomorrow." Didi replied with a grin

Hearing their parents' plans, both Tommy and Dil just looked at each other from across the table only to huff and turn away from one another. Being away from each other sounded like a great idea to the both of them.

Will some time away from each other help Tommy and Dil? Find out next time!
