Hello hello everyone! Happy new year! Hope you all are having a good day and have a good evening! Here's the next chapter, the last of 2023, hope you all enjoy!

Dil and Savannah began with telling Tommy how they found the doll that looked eerily similar to him before they then took the doll and snuck out of the toy store to find out for sure. Then explaining how the security guard started chasing them as they thought he was there to chase after them to take them back to Ebony.

"I thinks the police guy losted us a little bit acause he asadentially bumpded into another person and mades them drop all their stuffs that hads clothes and shoes and other stuffs." Savannah commented, recalling the brief moment that she saw the guard skid into the other gentleman as she and Dil ducked to hide in the laser tag

This, of course, had Tommy think back to earlier when suddenly there were a pair of shoes bouncing around on the first floor after they left Krudnicks as he put two in two together. The shoes weren't moving on their own, they just happened to fall all the way down where they were from that guy's bag when the security guard crashed into them. Of course, Tommy didn't want to disrupt the two as he continued to listen. Of course, the two younger toddlers explained how they hid out in the laser tag arena for a while only for them having to make a quick escape once again due to a teenager tripping over the doll and causing the arena to quite literally fall apart.

"That would makes sense now as to why all those peoples were looking in that place when we wents upstairs to the shoe place." Tommy blurted out

So the mall wasn't haunted after all! It was just the results of Dil and Savannah running around trying to find him. Glad, he at least knew he could now tell Chuckie that the mall was indeed not haunted and that he worried for nothing. Zoning back in, Tommy listened to the rest of the story, leading up until right before he showed up.

"And that's why I was crying, I thoughts you were going to be a doll forever and ever and that doll that takeded your place was gonna pretend to be yous forever toos." Dil explained

Moving forward to place his hand on his brother's shoulder, Tommy comforted his little brother as he grinned.

"Don't worry Dilly, peoples can't turn into dolls acause the dolly gots their old shoes. Only fairybob mothers can dos that and I haven't seen one in a long long time. Not since one turneded you into a doll once afore a long time ago." Tommy explained

"What? Dil really got turneded into a dolly by a fairybob mother?" Savannah asked

"Uh huh, at first we thoughts it was another one of Angelica's made up stories acause I mean you don't sees fairybob mothers just walking arounds. But we did see a fairy bob mother comes into the house and play with dilly and even called him a doll and the nextest thing we knew Dilly was a dolly." Tommy explained, recalling the time he thought Dil had actually turned into a doll

Of course, Dil hadn't actually turned into one, and was indeed actually one of Angelica's lies as she swapped Dil with the doll she had just to be able to take Dil to preschool for show and tell. However, all Tommy knew at the time was that he had to change his little brother back.

Before anyone else of the group could speak, Ebony noticed that not only Tommy was there suddenly, but Didi came rushing over with the others following suit, relieved to see Tommy was alright.

"Tommy, there you are!" Didi sighed in relief

"Hey everyone, thought we were meeting down in the food court?" Ebony greeted everyone, questioning why everyone was here

"We were on the way down there, but suddenly Tommy sprinted off." Betty answered, nodding toward Didi who was scolding Tommy.

"Tommy sweetie, that was a no-no you can't just go running off like that. You could have gotten hurt or worse!" Didi scolded

"Sorry mommy, heard Dil cry. Wanted to see." Tommy apologized, explaining his actions

"Oh sweetie, I'm glad you're there to look out for your brother but you still can't run off like that again, okay?" Didi sighed

"Yes, mommy." Tommy answered with a nod

"Well it's been quite the eventful day it seems." Kira chuckled

"Tell me about it." Ebony said, glancing over at her oldest child and her friend as they seemed to be having their own conversation

"Well, why don't we go ahead and have lunch in the food court since we're already all together again?" Didi suggested

"Good idea, I'm sure the little ones are hungry by this point. It's well past their normal lunch time." Ebony agreed

Betty and Kira also commented on their agreements as the group of moms and kids made their way towards the elevator. Soon the group was heading back downstairs as they began making their way towards the food court. On the way down the corridor, Dil and Savannah noticed Tanner toddling along behind his brothers as they both gave him a thumbs up to say all was well and Tommy was indeed not a doll. Tanner found himself relaxing a little as the other two toddlers showed that there was nothing to worry about as he gave a small wave back. Of course, before he could say something to the two, Teddy ended up sprinting up to him to take his hand.

"Tanner what you doing, you're gonna get lefted, come on!" Teddy dragged the red-haired toddler along

"Oh right! I'm coming." Tanner said, letting Teddy lead him away, back to the rest of his family

The Rugrats gang soon arrived in the food court as the mom's found a spot to sit. Betty ended up pushing three tables together to ensure they could all sit together while Didi and Kira saw to getting the food for all the kids to eat. Soon everyone had their lunch and were on their way back to the Pickles' residence where the kids had their nap for the afternoon.

What shenanigans will the Rugrats gang get into next? Find out next time!
