Hello hello everyone! Happy weekend, hope you all are doing well. I also realized I never mentioned it, but I'd like to thank Mr. Chaos for the initial idea of the Babies going on Strike to me many months ago! I'd also like to thank Celrock for the ideas suggested to me for parts of this story within the story! Anyway, here's the next chapter. Hope you all enjoy

Another day had passed bringing it one day closer to Phil and Lil's birthday party as the final preparations were being made and checked over. Today in particular was decorating Phil and Lil's living room for the party. Of course upon arriving to set up for the party itself, Didi and Betty also learned from the other parents that it seemed all the kids were going through this rebellious phase.

"I looked for what I could find from Lipschitz but all I could find was only about food strikes. Nothing real on whatever this could be." Didi commented

"Ah I wouldn't worry about it too much Deed, besides I'm sure once the kids get a load of this party, they'll snap right back to normal." Betty tried to assure her friend and hopefully calm her nerves

"Who knows maybe the kids would want to help put up the decorations?" Chas questioned, looking over at the kids who were playing around with a couple of balloons.

While the parents chatted, the babies were having their own conversation about their current situation as they continued passing the balloons around to each other.

"How's the strike going for you guyses?" Savannah asked as she mentioned what she refused to help with. "I didn't helps my daddy with making beakfast, I thinks I ended up throwing a bunch of the eggies on the floor."

"Good, there were a couple times where we really wanted to helps our mommy at the big mall place but we didn't, right Tommy?" Dil beamed, looking over at his brother

"Yup and I didn't help mommy when she wanted mes to cleans up the living room neither." Tommy nodded

"I thinks our mommy wanted us to help with the clotheses but I saids no." Chuckie chimed in

"I thinks I ended up playing in the clotheses instead! It was fun!" Kimi giggled

"We had to not helps our daddy with our birthday cake." Lil continued

"Which was the dumbest idea ever! We coulda lickeded the spoon, that's always the bestest part when daddy bakes stuffs!" Phil huffed crossing his arms

"Oh Phillip,we'll gets to eats all the cakes we wants tomorrow! It's our birthday!" Lil replied, rolling her eyes

The toddlers were all soon interrupted from their game and conversation as they heard Chas call out to the group.

"Oh kids, would you all like to help us put up the Reptar pinata?" Chas asked

Hearing the word, pinata, made Kimi brighten up in excitement. She loved pinatas! Kimi was about to take off towards her dad before Chuckie grabbed her hand to stop her.

"Kimi wait! I knows you likes peanutters but we're not apposed to help the grown ups." Chuckie warned

"But Chuckie, it's a peanutter!" Kimi whined, trying to convince her brother to let her go

"I knows, but we haves to stay outs of the growed ups way, only then will they not blames us if something gets brokeded again." Chuckie explained

Kimi could only look to Chas before looking back at Chuckie before sighing in defeat. Chuckie was right, she couldn't give in, not after this long.

"Okay..." Kimi sighed

"Thanks, Kimi." Chuckie thanked his sister

"Here we can gos to our room and plays so our mommies and daddies don't ask us to helps us with stuffs no more." Lil suggested, ushering the others to follow her to Phil and Lil's room

"Good idea, Lil." Tommy said, toddling after the twin

Without a word spoken to the adults, the babies all went off to Phil and Lil's room to play instead, taking the balloons with them. This of course only coerced a sigh of defeat from the adults as the kids all ignored Chas' offer. Of course, the adults all continued decorating without the kids getting everything ready for the party for the next day as they managed to get everything all set up.

"Oh yeah, where's Stuie? Is he still down in the basement?" Betty asked Didi with a chuckle

"Yes unfortunately, I think he's making a gift for the twins and he wanted to make sure it was ready by the party tomorrow." Didi answered

"Lets just hope we don't have to call the fire department... again." Chas added, adjusting his glasses

"I hope so too..." Didi sighed

Seeing as everything that was part of the setup was finished, the adults cleaned up what needed to be cleaned up as they all grabbed the kids and made their way home for the evening making sure they got a bath and to bed on time to be ready for Phil and Lil's big day tomorrow! Didi tucked Tommy in first before she gave him a kiss goodnight before leaving his room and closing the door until it was slightly ajar before she moved on to tuck in Dil for the night as well. After tucking Dil into bed and also giving him a goodnight kiss, Didi made her way back downstairs just as Stu came upstairs from the basement with a purple and green present and a huge grin on his face.

"It's finally done, Deed! A not another moment to spare too." Stu beamed, proud that he finished just in time

"Oh, Stu! I'm glad you finished...what was it that you made exactly?" Didi asked, curious about what her husband was so focused on finishing in these past few days

"You'll have to wait till the party tomorrow and you'll see. I'm sure the twins will love it!" Stu chuckled, patting the gift box.

"I'm sure they will, honey." Didi replied before moving off to the kitchen to clean up the dishes

Meanwhile Stu went ahead to place the gift on the kitchen counter to be grabbed in the morning when it was time for the party. Meanwhile, Phil and Lil begrudgingly got cleaned up in the bath before they too were put to bed by Betty and Howard.

"Goodnight you two, tomorrow you'll be our big three year olds." Howard said, sniffling a little at the thought of his kids growing up so fast while tucking in Lil

"Bye bye terrible twos, hello big three." Betty chuckled as she tucked in Phil

Both Howard and Betty then each gave the twins a goodnight kiss as they left the room to let the two sleep for what would be their last night as two year olds.

How will Phil and Lil's third birthday party go? Find out next time!
