Happy weekend everyone! Hope everyone is doing well. I'm back with the next chapter and I hope you all enjoy!
Once outside, the group all now stood in the middle of the backyard as they looked for any sign of the missing toys.
"Okay guys, if we splits up then we should be able to finds them fasterer." Tommy said, turning to face everyone
Understanding the mission, each of the babies all nodded in understanding as everyone began going off their separate ways to start searching. Phil and Lil went to look by the side of the house while Kimi and Chuckie went to check by Spike's dog house and the bushes near the dog house. Finally, Tommy, Dil, and Savannah all made their way by the sandbox, tree, and bushes near the sandbox. Of course, everyone had to carefully move around to not slip and fall in the remaining amount of slushy, melted, snow that littered various spots in the backyard while they searched.
Meanwhile, while the babies searched outside, Angelica was still enjoying the final part of the Cynthia P.I. episode as the final commercial break began. Rolling her eyes, Angelica groaned at the sight of yet another commercial as she got down from the couch. Needing something to entertain her in the meantime, Angelica grabbed Cynthia as she made her way over to the back sliding door behind the playpen. She figured that if she had to wait, she could at least torment the babies some more. Stepping out into the backyard, Angelica quickly glanced around as she spotted her purple haired cousin over near the sandbox looking in the bushes with Dil.
"Hey Tommy, any luck on finding where the toys have gone?" Angelica asked
"No, are you sure you saws them out here, Angelica?" Tommy asked, looking over at his older cousin
"Yeah, how do we knows that you're not just trying to tricks us again?" Dil butted in
"Oh sweetie dumb little baby Dylan, why would I try and trick you about some dumb old toys I don't even play with anymore? My daddy gaves them to you and Tommy for a reason, it's not my fault they're trying to go back to my closet." Angelica chuckled
"If you're not tricking us, then you can helps us. Right?" Tommy asked, giving the older girl a light glare
"I would, but I think I hear my Cynthia show coming back on, and I can't miss it. Otherwise I'll be the only one at preschool that hasn't seen it." Angelica replied, "Better hurry and find where they're hiding though, my daddy will be coming to get me soon and if you don't find them then they're going back in my closet forever."
Angelica then skipped away as she made her way back inside the house. Once inside, Angelica slid the door closed to the point it was slightly open as she went and hopped back onto the couch as she cackled to herself.
"That should keep those babies out of the way until the show is over." Angelica said to Cynthia before placing her down next to her once again.
While Angelica went back to watching TV, Didi noticed it was close to being time for the babies to wake up from their nap if they weren't awake already. Getting up from the kitchen table, Didi then made her way out into the foyer and upstairs to go and check on the kids. Of course, Didi was in for a surprise when she finally got to the bedroom only to see that the room was completely empty. Panicking, Didi frantically checked everywhere upstairs, with no luck of course, before rushing downstairs and into the living room.
"Angelica, have you seen the babies? They're not upstairs anywhere." Didi asked Angelica, trying to remain calm
"No Aunt Didi, I've been here watching the Cynthia P.I show the whole time. It's getting to the best part too!" Angelica lied with a grin
"Oh dear...where could they be?" Didi pondered as she then noticed the back sliding door behind the playpen was slightly ajar.
As Didi made her way over to investigate, the babies at the same time all grouped near the sandbox as Tommy had finally discovered the location of the missing toys.
"Guys, come helps me! They toys are buried in the sandbox!" Tommy exclaimed
One by one, each of the toddlers all climbed in to help dig out the various toys that Angelica had buried under the wet slushy sand mix.
"Ewwww now they're all wet and dirty!" Chuckie whined, holding up a dummy bear plushie by it's arm with the tip of his fingers
"I'm starting to thinks that Angelica really was tricking us you guys..." Savannah said
"Yeah, there's no ways the toys could have gotted buried in the sand even if they could moves on their own." Dil added in, agreeing with his friend
"Kids! There you are." Didi exclaimed, rushing over to the sandbox as she noticed the dirty toys. "What are you all doing here? You're going to catch a cold out here like this."
Looking to each other, Chuckie and Kimi decided to tell what had happened to Didi.
"Angelica hided the toys!" Kimi answered, pointing to the toys in the sandbox
"Uh huh, Angelica tricked us into thinking they runnded away back to her house." Chuckie added in
"I see..thank you for telling me Chuckie and Kimi. Now let's all go back inside and I'll get those toys cleaned up for you all." Didi said with a sigh
As the group of toddlers returned inside the house, Didi collected the toys from the sand before going back inside as well. Setting the toys down in the kitchen sink to keep them from dripping all over the floor, Didi then went over to the couch where Angelica was sitting. Grabbing the T.V remote, Didi turned off the T.V. right as the big reveal at the end of the Cynthia show was happening.
"What happened?! I'm missing the big finale!" Angelica cried out
"There will be no more T.V. for you young lady. Chuckie and Kimi told me what you did and that not only was not a very nice thing to do, but the babies could have gotten hurt. Now you're going to sit in timeout until your daddy gets here to pick you up." Didi said, taking Angelica's arm to drag her over to the timeout chair in the corner of the living room
"No, wait! I'm sorry Aunt Didi, it was just a funny joke! I don't wanna sit in time out!" Angelica yelled, trying to stop Didi from dragging her with no successful attempt as she was forced to sit in timeout
Angelica could only pout and watch from across the room as not only did Didi clean up the toys and get them all back to the babies, but now Angelica had to watch them all play with the toys knowing that they were never going to be her toys again.
