Hello hello everyone! Happy weekend! Here's the next chapter, hope you all enjoy! Thanks again to Celrock for the ideas!

Not wanting to worry the other sibling, both Tommy and Dil decided to go along with the change that was soon to come as they went on about the rest of their afternoon and evening as normal. Before the two brothers knew it, it was time for their baths and to put on their pjs for bed. Out of habit, Dil did end up following Tommy to his room only to be stopped by Didi who grabbed him and picked him up.

"No, no sweetie, remember you have your own room now. Let's get you tucked into your new big boy bed." Didi said, carrying Dil off across the hallway.

At the same time, Dil peered over Didi's shoulder to see Tommy staring at them as Didi carried Dil away. Tommy's staring was quickly interrupted by Stu who came in and scooped Tommy up, distracting the toddler from what he was doing as Tommy began happily giggling as Stu made it seem like he was flying to his bed. With Tommy now out of sight, Dil let out a sigh as his mom carried him into his room. By now, most of his stuff had been moved including the changing table and his clothes, with his now dismantled crib being stored in the attic by Stu. Laying Dil down, Didi pulled the covers up to tuck Dil in as Dil grabbed onto his Goober plush toy and hugged it tightly. Sensing Dil's uneasiness, Didi opted into reading Dil a story to help him fall asleep as she went to pull out one of the few Goober books they had for him as she sat on the edge of the bed to read to the one year old. Meanwhile, Stu was doing the same for Tommy, turning on his nightlight before heading over to tuck Tommy in for the night. However, Stu noticed that Tommy was looking directly over at the spot where Dil's crib used to be as Stu sighed and ruffled Tommy's hair.

"Don't worry champ, he's just right across the hall. Almost every sibling goes through this at some point." Stu comforted the toddler

Laying down in the bed, Tommy was still wondering if Dil would be alright with this new arrangement as he let out a sigh himself. His dad was right though, it's not like Dil was gone; he was just in the other room just like before. Pondering of how to settle his oldest son's uneasiness, Stu thought for a moment before an idea clicked in his head.

"How about you go and say goodnight to Dil first? Sound good?" Stu suggested to the two year old

"Uh huh!" Quickly sitting up, Tommy nodded as he hopped out of his bed as he quickly made his way out of the room and over to Dil's with Stu following close behind

At the same time, Didi was finishing up the story that she was reading to Dil as she closed the book. Soon after finishing, Tommy came toddling in the room as he went over to Dil's bed.

"Hey Dilster, your brother wants to tell you goodnight." Stu chuckled

"Night night, Dil!" Tommy exclaimed, giving his younger brother a reassuring grin

"Aww now isn't that sweet." Didi cooed

"Night night, Tommy." Dil replied to his brother, which of course only came out as babble to his parents, as he started feeling slightly better.

Shortly, Tommy was taken back to his room by Stu as he got tucked in for the night while Didi gave Dil a kiss on the forehead as she moved to leave the room, turning off the room light in the process.

"Goodnight sweetie, mommy and daddy love you." Didi said to Dil, closing the door behind her, leaving it open just a crack

Taking a trip over to Tommy's room, Didi checked in with Stu as he was coming out of the room himself after telling Tommy goodnight.

"Do you think they'll really be alright?" Stu asked, closing Tommy's door to just a crack as well

"I hope so. Though I won't be surprised if Dil gets out of bed a couple times. I already went ahead and put the baby monitor in his room instead." Didi answered as the two went down the hall to their own room

Laying in their respective beds in their respective rooms, Tommy and Dil both proceeded to try and get some sleep. Tommy didn't really have too much issue falling asleep a few moments later. Dil, however, couldn't get himself to fall asleep feeling too much restlessness as he sat up in his bed.

"Hmm I wonder if Tommy is having trouble going night night too. Come on Goober lets go sees." Dil murmured, picking up his Goober plushie as he climbed out of his bed.

Creeping his way through the dark room, Dil made his way over towards the door. However, the sound of a thump along with shuffling sounds coming from the ceiling made him freeze in his tracks. Gulping, Dil suddenly felt a wave of nervousness as he glanced over at the door that led up to the attic. Maybe there was a monster living up there! What if it wanted to eat him? He definitely needed Tommy's help if there really was a monster. Quickly, Dil made his way over to the door, opening it enough to sneak out of his room, as he toddled his way over to Tommy's room.

Upon entering Tommy's room, Dil noticed his brother was already fast asleep. Creeping over to the bed he saw how his brother was sleeping with no issues whatsoever. Maybe he was just overreacting and should just go back to sleeping in his bed? That's what Dil was thinking as he took a step back away from Tommy's bed, not wanting to wake his brother, only to trip over one of the blocks in the middle of the floor causing him to fall into the blocks stacked in the box, making enough noise to wake up Tommy. Startled, Tommy jumped up from his sleep as he peered over to see Dil lying on what used to be the stacked up blocks.

"Dil, what are you doing?" Tommy asked

"Uh..." Dil was momentarily at a loss for words. He felt bad for waking up his brother because he himself couldn't sleep but also messing up the way Tommy had his blocks stacked up. "We uh never figured out who was gonna takes the blocks so I cided to come asks you what we should."

"Oh Dil, we could haves waited until it was morning to figures that out." Tommy sighed

"Sorry..." Dil apologized

After a moment in silence, Tommy climbed out of his bed figuring that this was a way his brother was stalling to sleep in his own room.

"Here, how abouts I make a city for Reptar and you makes a city for Goober? Whatever blocks you uses you can takes to your room and whatever I uses I keeps here in mine." Tommy suggested, picking up one of the blocks

"Okay!" Dil nodded

With that, the two brothers began working to build a block city for their respective favorite characters in the middle of Tommy's floor.

Will the boys ever adjust to their new sleeping arrangements? Find out next time!
