Tommy Pickles: The Terrible Twos (Series; Pt 1)

Accidents Will Happen Pt 1

Happy weekend everyone! Back again with another chapter as we start the next story within the story. Hope you all enjoy and thanks to Celrock for the ideas that will help throughout the story.

The next day went on as usual with the gang all coming over to play for the day at the Pickles' home. With winter still in full swing meant more business at the Java Lava leaving Chas, Kira and Betty and even Howard swamped. Seeing as it's been extra busy, they even had Howard helping out around the Java Lava as well. Not wanting their children to be stuck in the coffeehouse with all the people and chaos, Didi offered to watch them for the day. Of course, seeing as she would have all the kids anyway, Didi called up Ebony and Alan and invited Savannah over to play as well. Soon Savannah was dropped off over the Pickles' as well by her dad as Didi carried her into the living room to be placed in the playpen. However, Savannah didn't look too happy if anything she looked troubled about something as Didi placed her down. Quickly noticing his best friend looking down, Dil toddled his way over to Savannah to ask her what was wrong.

"Hey Savannah, are you okays?" Dil asked

"Oh, hi Dil, yeah I'm okays just worried about Mayah is all." Savannah answered with a sigh

"What happened?" Dil asked

"I think Savannah might be becoming lactoes introlerant like you she was throwing up and going poop extra lots when my mommy tries to feed her, her bottle." Savannah answered, "My mommy even calleded Susie's mommy to come over since she's a doctor and so when your mommy called my mommy and daddy asking if I could come over they broughted me here just in case my sister was really sick so I didn't get sick neither." Savannah explained as the others all listened

"Well even if it is lactoes intolerants, it'd be okay it's just your sister will have to drink a different special kind of milk that doesn't make your tummy hurt just like Dil. Our doctor even said that he might eventually grows out of it toos which means it could be the same for Samayah." Tommy reassured the one year old

"Yeah! She'll be okays I'm sure of it." Dil chimed in

"Thanks guys, I hope so too." Savannah said with a small smile, "So what were you guys doing?"

"We were just about to build a city out of blocks for Robosnail to take over so Reptar can come and save the peoples." Lil answered from next to the beginnings of their block city

"Neat! Can I plays too?" Savannah followed up with another question

"Of course you can, you can help Dilly with the police and fire station." Tommy then answered

"Okay!" Savannah beamed, nodding her head

Going with Dil, the two began working together to build two separate block buildings that could be each station while Phil and Lil worked on the city buildings. Tommy, Chuckie, and Kimi were all working on making the skyscraper that robosnail would be climbing up in their imagination game. Soon many of the block buildings were finished as each group put their finishing touches on each building.

"Alright, Kimi we just gots to put the friangle block on the tippy top and it'll be all done." Tommy said, turning to the other purple haired toddler

"Wha-oh okay, I gots it...give me a booster." Kimi said in a low energy tone as she picked up the triangle block

Climbing up on Tommy's shoulders, Kimi carefully tried to place the block on the very top of their block tower. However, she was struggling to keep her hand steady as she seemed to be shivering like she was cold. As a result of having shaky hands, Kimi accidentally ended up knocking down the top portion of the block tower.

"Oh no! I-I'm sorry guys." Kimi apologized

"It's okay, Kimi, we can rebuilds it." Tommy said, letting Kimi down from his shoulders

Chuckie took notice that his younger sibling seemed to look unwell as she was shivering a little more fiercely like he got when he was terrified of something. Being the worry wart he was, a concerned look crossed his face.

"Hey, are you okay Kimi? You don't looks so good." Chuckie asked, placing his hand on his sister's shoulder

"Uh huh, I just feels really cold all of a sudden but I'll be okays." Kimi reassured her brother forcing a smile seeing as she didn't want him to worry

"Okay...but if you're not feeling good you'd tell me right?" Chuckie asked

"Of course, Chuckie." Kimi said with a nod

Going back to playing for a little while, Kimi only seemed to start feeling worse as she quickly grew tired in the middle of their game. Per Chuckie's request she did finally mention that she wasn't feeling all that great and was mostly becoming very sleepy.

"If it's okays with you guys, I think I'm gonna go take a nap on the couch." Kimi said, grabbing Tommy's dummi bear blanket and making her way over to the couch to lay down

Seeing his sister wanting to lay down when she was usually so energetic and jumpy had Chuckie really concerned for her as he confided in Tommy for reassurance.

"I think something's really wrong with Kimi, Tommy. It's not like her to want to take a nap especially when it's not even nap time yet." Chuckie stammered

"I'm sure she'll be okay Chuckie, sometimes you just need an extra nap. We should just lets her take her nap and checks on her later." Tommy reassured his friend

"Well..." Chuckie murmured, looking over to his sleeping sister who was curled under the blanket. "Okay." Chuckie said with a sigh

As Chuckie and Tommy went back to playing with the others, Didi came into the living room to check on the kids. Noticing that Kimi was not only laying on the couch, but shivering something fierce, Didi scooped up the toddler to check her temperature.

"Oh my, you're burning up sweetie. I need to call your mommy and daddy and see if one of them can take you home." Didi said, carrying Kimi in her arms

Overhearing Didi, the babies all looked to each other in concern as Didi carried off Kimi to the kitchen to call Chas and Kira.

"See! See! I tolds you something was wrong!" Chuckie sobbed, worried for his sibling

"Aww don't cry Chuckie, I'm sure she'll be okay. This is Kimi we're talking bout, she won't let whatever is making her feel sick keep her down forever." Tommy said, patting Chuckie on the back to calm him down

In the meantime, Didi called over to the Java Lava when the rush had finally calmed down for the most part. After hearing that Kimi was unwell, Kira quickly left to go and pick up Kimi, wanting to get Kimi home and into bed as soon as possible. Unfortunately, in that amount of time Kimi only seemed to get worse as her stomach ended up feeling upset resulting in emptying the contents of her stomach just before Kira's arrival. Chuckie, of course, concerned for his sister, ended up leaving as well with Kira, not wanting to deal with the constant worry of his sister's health.

Not too many hours passed before everyone else ended up going home for the evening. As Didi got each of her boys ready for bed, with Dil already in his crib fast asleep, she was interrupted by the phone as she quickly finished buttoning up Tommy's Reptar pj shirt before leaving the room to answer the phone. Tommy found himself drawn to his bed, feeling quite tired, maybe even more so than usual, as he climbed into his bed. Curling up under his blankets, he let out a yawn as he made sure to snuggle himself into the blankets. He noticed he too was starting to feel very cold even when underneath his blanket, but he also didn't have any energy to fight it as he began drifting off to sleep.
