Hello hello everyone! Happy weekend, here's the next chapter and I hope you all enjoy!

"That's not fair!" Dil exclaimed suddenly causing the others to turn to look at him before coming to the same conclusion: it really wasn't their fault.

"Yeah, Dil's right, we didn't breakeded the lamp!" Lil chimed in

"Uh huh it was that Dactar toy that flewded in the house." Kimi noted

"You thinks they'd believe us if we tolds them it was Dactar that brokeded the lamp?" Chuckie asked, having a feeling he knew the answer regardless

Realizing they all knew what the answer would be, the group slumped in defeat. Even if they had Kimi and Chuckie explain what happened, they knew the grownups would take it as some sort of imagination game they were playing and not even consider their defense as something to be taken seriously.

"I knowed that helping a grown up with cleaning up stuffs was a load of bologna." Phil huffed, crossing his arms as he turned his attention back to the sounds of the tv

The T.V. was running a newsreel about a company and how its workers were currently on a strike to protest until the company actually treated their employees much better and also fairly. Listening to the newsreel was giving Phil an idea as he grinned and turned to the others.

"I thinks I knows what we can dos." Phil stated

"What's that Phil?" Tommy asked, now curious what his friend was plotting

"We could do like those peoples on T.B. are doing with their job place. Goes on strike! We don't do nothing our mommies and daddies wants us to do until they don't blames us for stuffs we didn't do no more and treats us betterer." Phil declared proudly

A small silence crossed the room as the babies all looked amongst each other before back at Phil. Lil, seeing as Phil was her brother, then walked over to Phil as she placed her hand on his shoulder.

"Philliph, that's the bestestest idea you've ever thoughts of! I'm with Phil, from now ons I'm going on strike!" Lil praised her twin before turning to the rest of the group

"Yeah! That'll shows the growed up that they can't blames us for messies we didn't makes!" Savannah exclaimed

One by one, each of the babies all came together as they placed their hands in a pile before throwing them up.

"From this day until we says we're not, we're babies on strike!" Tommy announced proudly

"Ike, Ike!" Samayah squealed out in agreement with the strike

While the babies were going on about their strike, at the same time Didi went to answer the door after hearing the doorbell buzz. At the door was none other than Betty here to pick up the twins as she greeted Didi.

"Hey Deed, hope the pups didn't give you too much trouble today." Betty greeted

"Oh you know they're not really any trouble. One of the kids knocked over that old lamp in the corner but nothing a new light bulb won't fix." Didi replied, stepping aside to allow Betty into the house

"Ah they're all getting much more active now, heck in just a few days my pups will being hitting the big 03!" Betty continued on as she walked into the living room with Didi

"I know! I bet they're so excited! By the way, is there anything else you need for their party? I know you said Howard and the kids were going to be making the cake." Didi asked

Meanwhile as Betty and Didi were walking over, the babies were finalizing their plans for their strike.

"Now remembers guys, not matter what our mommies and daddies wants us to help them withs, we have to not listen to what they wants. Gots it!" Tommy reminded the group

"Gots it!" Everyone toddler nodded in agreement just as Didi and Betty made it over to the playpen

"Hmm, well a couple extra snacks wouldn't hurt to have around at the party, especially seeing how much these kids eat nowadays with all their growing." Betty answered, scooping up both Phil and Lil in her arms

"Mommy!" Both Phil and Lil squealed in delight

"Hey you two, you ready to go? I'm sure daddy's waiting to make a very special birthday cake with ya." Betty chuckled as she carried the twins to the front of the house with Didi following behind

Tommy and the others remaining waved goodbye to Phil and Lil as Betty carried them away. It wasn't much longer before Chuckie, Kimi, Savannah, and Samayah were all picked up by their parents and taken home. Once everyone was gone for the evening, it was time for the evening routine of having dinner and getting ready for bed not long after. Of course for each of the Rugrats this was their first moment where they had to refuse to help their parents whatsoever. For Tommy and Dil, however mostly Tommy, it was helping Didi with the dishes by carrying his and Dil's plates over to her. As expected, Tommy refused to even look at the empty plates as he got down from the table without another word and sprinted out of the kitchen to go up to his room; Dil followed behind not too long after. Didi, while surprised, didn't think much of it, figuring that Tommy maybe had to use his potty. Over at Chuckie and Kimi's place, Kira offered for the kids' help with folding the laundry by having them hand her the clothes while she folded.

"No." Chuckie quickly responded before he toddled off back into his room

Kimi on the other hand was already about to give in, seeing as she loved helping out her mom, when she realized that instead she could just play in the laundry basket. Climbing in, Kimi just giggled as she swam around in the pile of clothes. Kira could only sigh and shake her head as she went ahead to fold the clothes. Phil and Lil were having the most trouble resisting seeing as, like Betty mentioned, they were supposed to help Howard with making their own birthday cake: a Reptar cake at that!

"Oh kids, don't you want to lick the icing off the spoon?" Howard called out to the twins, waving the icing covered spoon

Phil unconsciously began walking over to Howard, wanting some of the green icing, before Lil stopped him by grabbing his arm.

"Ow, hey!" Phil whined

"Phillip we're apposed to not be helping!" Lil hissed at her brother

"Oh right, I forgot." Phil sighed before looking over at Howard "But licking the icing when daddy bakes is the bestestest part."

"I knows, but we can't lets the grown ups win, we're on strike member?" Lil reminded her brother

"Yeah, yeah." Phil muttered, already lowkey regretting this whole strike idea

"Good, come on, we can go looks for good stuffs under the couch!" Lil replied, dragging Phil away from the kitchen.

One thing for sure, it was gonna be a long next couple of days for all the parents and kids alike.

Will the Rugrats be able to hold out on their strike for the next few days? Find out next time!
