I was so mad I didn't know who she is right away. I only memorized her looks and complimented them. But I didn't know how a monster she is inside the classroom. She's competitive and bold—realmente sobresaliente. And the fact that it took me only one week to realize I like her, is annoying.

One fucking week, Rad.

But I came to an agreement with myself.

If I can't unlike her, I'll make her hate me, so she won't like me back. That way, I can focus on my goal.

"It's needs over wants," I reminded myself.

Funny of me to think she'll like me if I don't do bullshits.

"You're replaceable, dumbass." I chortled.

I was limited to everything since I was a child so restricting myself from liking someone shouldn't be hard.

But it was and I hated every part of my plan.

"Suarez."

She went to our room, looking like she was ready to throw a fit. That's how she looks every day.

"What?" I responded coldly.

I've been playing with these feelings of mine for a term now. I feel like I acquired a new talent because honestly, I hate to be a Suarez. But when she calls me, I feel proud of being one.

"Congrats. It must be an honor for you to come after my name." I lifted my own chair.

Suminghal siya, sa isip-isip siguro niya ay mayabang ako. It was hard beating her. This might be my last. Might as well make the most out of it.

"May partner ka na sa research?"

My tongue played inside my mouth but I didn't let her see I was amused. My classmates invited her to be their partner, but she's asking me. She has no idea how wild my stomach has become.

Act cool, Rad. Act fool.

I stopped spinning my pen. I arched my brow and smirked. "Why do you ask?"

She neared me to put the paper on my desk. "Be my partner."

Sure. For life?

"Why would I? For the record, I received a ton of proposals from others to be their partners. Some offer themselves to be my assistant this term."

I made that up. I was planning to do the research individually. I made that clear to my classmates upon our teacher's announcement.

"Anong kapalit ng oo mo?" matapang niyang tanong.

She's so attractive when she sulks.

"Luhod?"

Damn. So bold.

"Halik?"

Natingin ako sa labi niya nang banggitin niya 'yon. That lips is to die for.

"Kaya mo?" hamon ko.

A huge part of me meant it. Especially since I found out she's not a minor. I saw some information on the SSC board about her.

I chuckled to hide my anticipation but she pinned her hand on the desk while the other held my backrest. My smile dropped.

I'm in danger.

"Halik ba?"

The class started teasing us. Nawawala na rin ako sa akto kaya nagpilit ako ng ngisi. I dug my own grave when I looked down her lips, trying to show her I'm up for it.

"I would say it's negotiable." I can't fucking stutter but my heartbeats are racing.

I . . . didn't expect she will really do it.
