Chapter 56

Star

Klaus went to go "talk" to Jackson, but knowing him he's off to kill him. As for me, I'm taking care of Hayley. Hayley is inside one of the buildings and has just met up with Mary and Hope and explained their current situation. "What about Jack" Mary asks "he and the others will meet us up the road" Hayley said. Hayley is suddenly distracted by the sight of Mary's lantern full of Solomon seal and snapdragon, which is currently producing red smoke. "It's her, Dahlia" Hayley said "all the more reason to go" Mary said.

"No, I'm not gonna teach that baby girl that it's okay to leave the ones you love to die" Hayley says. She hands Hope to Mary and looks at her daughter sadly "take her, and get her as far away from here as you can" Hayley says and bends over to look at Hope one last time. "It's okay, baby, I'm gonna catch up with you real quick, okay" Hayley says before leaving.

Hayley stopped outside as I stood in front of her. "Star" Hayley said shocked to see me "so, now she's your daughter" I asked? "I've been keeping Hope safe unlike her mother who thinks it's okay to kill people" Hayley said a bit mad. I shook my head "I'm disappointed in you Hayley, I thought you and I were friends. Looks like I was wrong" I said and took a couple of steps foreword "only one mother will walk away from this, are you prepared for that" I asked Hayley.

Hayley bared her fangs and hissed at me "I'll take that as a yes" I said and bared mine, hissing at her. Hayley charged for me and pushed me up against a tree near by. I grabbed her by the throat and threw her off of me. Hayley quickly rose to her feet and I stood, waiting for her to make a move. Hayley charged for me again and I went to grab her again but she pushed my arm out of the way and bent it back, making me scream.

Hayley kicked my legs out from under me and I fell to my knees. "I'm a hybrid, I'm stronger and faster then you. End this" Hayley said mad and I took my other hand and grabbed her hand that was holding my arm and broke it, making her scream in pain. I swung her over and held her to the ground. I held onto her throat with one hand and held onto her arms with the other. I banged her head onto the ground and said "and I'm a vampire hunter, I have more tricks then you've ever seen".

Hayley pushed me off of her and grabbed onto me, swinging me into a nearby tree. I hit it hard and fell to the ground. I tried to stand as Hayley walked over to me "I'm not going to kill you Star" Hayley said to me. I sneakily took my wedding ring that still had Freya out and slipped it onto my finger. I threw my hand up, making Hayley fly against a tree and I stood up. I held out my hand, choking Hayley as I walked towards her.

"You told me I could trust you with MY daughter. You said that you didn't care that Hope wasn't yours. Check her blood, she has Klaus and my's blood in her system, not yours" I said mad. "If you wanted her so badly, then you should have taken her when I offered" I said as Hayley struggled to breath. "Everything I do, I do for MY family, not yours, not Elijah and Rebekah, but mine. I killed those people to keep Hope safe and if you think for even a minuet I'm going to let some wolf come in and ruin that then you are sadly wrong".

I grabbed her throat with my hand now. "You may not want to kill me, and personally don't want to kill you, so I have something better in mind" I said and let her go. I threw my hands up and started to chant a spell. Hayley lunges for me but stops when her bones start to snap, and she's forced to fall onto the ground. "What are you doing" Hayley said "this? This was Klaus' idea, stealing from Marcel the Crescent curse he once used on your pack. Dahlia was all too happy to teach me the necessary adjustments to accommodate your hybrid nature" I said. Hayley's bones continue to snap.
