Chapter 25: Ho'Zeah Ghul

It has been 2 weeks since the attack, Kai got out of the hospital with Ava by his side. "Again", Ava throws a punch and a kick at Kai, but she misses, Kai tackles her to the ground. "Ow" Ava groaned, "Again" Kai repeated. "How are you this strong, didn't you just come out of the hospital two weeks ago?" Ava queried, "Yeah, it's not about strength Ava it's about Precision, study your attacker's move". "Yeah, cuz that worked the last 10 times", Ava gets up and gets back in her fighting stance. Kai charges at her, she dodges him and hit Kai in the back of the head, she then uses her left leg and knocks him to the ground, she stands with her foot in his chest."Huh look at that, it does work after all" Ava pulls up Kai, the door then suddenly opens, it was Ermani. "Hey Ermani, what's up" Ava greeted, "It's Ho'zeah Ghul ''. "What?" Kai asked, "He says he's done waiting; he wants to see if Ava is strong enough to officially join the league". "I'm ready" Ava stated, "The hell you are" Kai argued. "Kai I am ready; I have been training for a reason", "Ava- Ermani could you give us a minute?". "Sure" Ermani leaves and shuts the door; Kai turns and faces Ava. "Ava you are not ready, end of story", " Kai I know I am ready; you just don't believe in me"."Ava this is not about belief, this guy will kill you without a second thought, he's a nightmare you can't wake up from" Kai declared, "Oh I get it, you're scared of him" Ava taunts. "Pfft, no I'm not", "You sound scared" Ava pushed on. "I'm not" Kai denied, "You sure?"."Ava-believe me when I say that you don't wanna do this' Kai replied, "Well guess what, I'm fighting him whether you want me to or not" Ava goes to walk out the door, but Kai grabs a hold of her hand. "No, you won't, I said you won't fight him, so you won't" Kai contends. "Fuck you" Kai then grabs Ava's hair and pulls her up so he's looking down at her. "Say it again, I dare you" Ava remains silent, Kai goes up to her ear and whispers " You see baby, when I say something, you should obey, get that through your thick skull, now you're gonna go upstairs and remain there, do I make myself clear?" Kai made it clear.Ava nods her head; Kai then Pulls her hair tighter in his grasp "Words, Ava", "Yes" she answered. "Yes what?", "Yes, sir". "Good girl, don't ever let me have to remind you to say that again" Kai mentioned, "Yes sir" Ava replies once more. Kai lets go of Ava's hair, Ava stomps out of the room angrily and goes upstairs. She goes into the room and slams the door, Kai then yells from downstairs "Did you just slam that door, Ava?", "No, SIR!" she replies mockingly. She goes back into the room and lies down on the bed, she stares at the ceiling angrily while lost in her thoughts.'Ugh, I wish he had more faith in me, what I'm about to do is either the best or the worst idea ever'. Ava quietly sneaks out of her room and down the stairs, she then sees Ermani sitting on the couch by himself watching tv, Ava quietly makes her way over to him."Psst, Ermani", "Why are you whispering?" he asked. "Because I don't want Kai to hear" Ava answered, "What, why?". "Because I need you to take me to Ho'Zeah Ghul, I'm gonna fight him".
