Chapter 56: 3 Firemen And The Heat

Kai got busy with work so Ava decided to leave him to it, in the meantime she decided to tell the rest of the girls the news. She walked into the living room and saw both Leslie and Marcy dancing. "Hey, whatcha guys up to?' Ava asks, "We're trying to learn the thing you do with your hips, show us how you do it" Leslie replies. "What this?" "Princess, put it away" Kai orders, "Fine" Ava put the steamer in the bathroom and continued packing but with Kai monitoring the items. "Okay I think that's enough" Kai says, " Kai this is just a bunch of my thongs that you like, some shorts, and a shitload of stuff that is not essential" Ava observes. "How about we just get you some stuff when we get there?" Kai suggests, "Okay but we gotta go now, we've already wasted an hour". Ava and Kai rush downstairs and see Leslie and Marcy dragging a huge suitcase out the door, "You two I said essentials only! We're not going sightseeing!" Kai stated. "Most of these are mostly Leslie's stuff" Marcy says, "Just-Let's go already!" Sounds of Ava and Leslie arguing echoed throughout the plane, everyone tried to stop them from arguing. "Okay THAT'S ENOUGH! Ava, take a timeout in our cabin' Kai says, "And as for you Leslie comes to take a timeout in our cabin" Luke says. "And for you Marcy, you're spending the night in my cabin, you don't have a choice" Ermani spoke, "I don't?" Marcy asks. "No, my love" Everyone went their separate directions throughout the plane, Ava and Kai went to their sector and we're now cuddling each other. "You and Leslie are fighting over a stupid piece of game" Kai scoffed, "Don't worry about that, we just get like that sometimes. "Hey guys", "Hey baby, The plane is gonna land in an hour so we have to get all our stuff ready" Kai says. "Okay, what were you guys talking about?" Ava asks, "Nothing" Luke answers. "Just how fun it is to um travel around the world" Marcy says, "And see some beautiful places" Kai joined. "I thought you said we weren't going sightseeing?" Ava reminded, "Well uh- I changed my mind" Kai replies. "Okay, I guess". ~~~~~~~~~~~~~The plane was about to land any minute now and everyone was strapped into their seats, Awaiting that moment. "It's so nice to be back in Russia" Ava said, "Yeah, it's a romantic place" Kai commented. "What is going on?", "What?". After about 40 seconds the plane gently began to touch the ground, well it looked like that on the outside but for everyone inside, the plane was shaking a lot.After a couple of seconds, the plane came to a slow stop and everyone was relieved. "You okay baby?" Kai asks, "Nope, I think I'm gonna throw up" Ava replies. We're gonna get turnt in this house" Leslie blatted, Everyone got out of the car,Leslie,Ava and Marcy ran towards the house and bolted through the front door,not even waiting for the boys to catch up to them."This is so Amazing!" Ava exclaimed, "I can't believe this is our house!" Marcy joined. The girls ran throughout the house exploring its contents before heading upstairs to the bedroom areas. After looking through a couple of rooms, Ava came to a stop at a huge door, she opened it and saw a room with a huge bed in the middle, a window with a nice view of the pool, a beautiful dangling chandelier,s and a huge walk-in closet already packed with clothes and accessories"Kai and I call dibs on this room!" Kai took one of the cars parked in the garage which was a Bugatti Chiron.He fires up the engine before speeding off and into the city, "Wait a minute, is this a Bugatti!?" Ava whined, "This is a really fast and dangerous car and that's a combination that I don't like around you, considering how crazy you are". "Fine" A couple of minutes went by and Kai stopped the car outside a restaurant called Gusteau's. "What do you wanna order?", "Is your dick on the menu?" Ava asks. "No", "Then I guess I'll starve". The waiter approached the table, he pulled out a pen and a notepad and began taking their orders. "I'll have the steak with potatoes and a side of garlic bread" Kai says, "And what will you have Miss?" The waiter asks. "Nothing" Ava replies, The waiter put the pen away and disappeared into the back of the restaurant.Ava and Kai sat there in silence while staring deeply at each other for a long time, long long long time. After a couple of seconds, the waiter returns with the two orders of steak, potatoes, and garlic bread. He sets Kai's food on Kai's side of the table and as he was about to hand Ava her food his eyes slowly drift down to Ava's exposed chest. "My eyes are up here pal" Ava motioned her hands to her eyes and the waiter quickly snapped out of his gaze and set the plate down before scurrying away from the table."That guy is so lucky I didn't gouge his eyes out" Kai mutters, "Awww someone's a bit jelly" Ava taunts. Ava slowly chewed on the food before swallowing it, she opened her mouth and showed Kai that it was empty, with that said Kai walked back to his seat and began eating his meal. "I made you mad, I win" Ava ridiculed, "Only because I let you' Kai says. "Sure funny guy" Ava and Kai sat and enjoyed their meal while making conversation about their past lives. "Okay so in one of your past lives,you tried some Sichuan peppers for the first time and your face was so swollen it looked like you got stung by a bunch of bees or something" Kai laughed, "What, no!" Kai called for a waiter and paid for the food bill, the walk out of the restaurant, a man accidentally bumped into Ava and spilled some coffee that luckily, only got on her shoes. "Hey watch where you're going!" Kai yelled, "Omg I'm so sorry" the man says. "It's fine, it was an accident," Ava said.The guy was tall and had red hair, he was dressed well in a gray suit and had a tattoo of a vampire fang on his neck, and the weird thing is, the guy had a red mark on his knuckle that resembled blood.Ava and Kai walked away and made it back to the car, "Is it me or there's something off about that guy?" Ava noted. "I know, it's best if we avoid people like that at all costs", "Yeah". Kai started the car and drove off into the distance, a couple of minutes went by and the car came to a stop at a place that was covered in yellow tape and was crowded with police officers.Ava and Kai stepped out of the car and approached the scene, the police officers let them pass the yellow tape, and they then approached a man in a tall brown coat"Officer west" Kai says, "Hey Kai! Nice to see you, man" the guy says. "Ava this is my friend officer Joe West and Joe west this is my wife Ava Benyaga" Kai introduced, "Pleasure to meet the woman Kai finally settled down with, you know, he used to say that he would never get married" Joe mentioned. "Oh really?" Ava asks, "Okay enough of that, Let's examine the scene shall we?" Kai suggests. Officer West led Ava and Kai to a part of the scene that had numbers on the ground, "This is where we found the bodies and the 300 PRC cartridge. Kai, we've been friends forever and recently we haven't been caught up but please tell me you have nothing to do with this" Officer West requested. That means he just created new victims" Officer West says, "Okay, thanks Joe for all this information, don't worry, we're gonna stop this guy" Kai stated. "You're welcome Kai, when this is all done, don't leave without saying goodbye" Joe insisted, "Okay, I'll see you some other time" Kai gave Joe a bro hug, Ava took the picture with her just in case, and they both went back to the car and were making their way back home."This guy is smart, really smart" Ava says, "Yeah but everybody makes mistakes, we just gotta find his". After a couple of minutes, the car came to a stop outside the house, and they realized that the front door was wide open. "Hey didn't we close the door before we left?", "We did, come on," Kai says. They ran out of the car and through the front door, they looked around and saw that the house was a mess. The furniture was out of place, broken glass on the floor and they saw Ermani passed out on the stairs, they rushed over to him and tried to wake him up but he wasn't.All of a sudden Kai gave Ermani a bitch slap to the face and surely enough that woke Ermani, "OUCH! What the fuck man!" He shouted. "You were passed out on the floor, what happened?" Kai asks, "W-we got attacked by some men, go check on the girls, it told them to hide upstairs", "Okay" Kai and Ava went upstairs and started searching through the rooms, after a couple of seconds of searching Ava opened a door and behind it she saw Leslie and Marcy on the floor, bleeding and having bruises all around their bodies. "Kai in here!" Ava rushed over to them both and soon Kai joined them. Ava woke up Marcy while Kai woke up Leslie. "Well I'll be damned, Kai you care about me after all" Leslie muttered, "Don't let that get to your head" Kai says. "Shit, is this what a hangover feels like?" Marcy asks, "More or less" Ava replies. "Did you guys get a look at the attacker?" Kai questioned, "Yes" Leslie says. Ava then pulls out the picture of Marcaida Agnawni and shows it to them, "Was it this guy?". "Yes," Marcy replied. Ava was furious, she was gonna make sure that Marcaida would be dealt with, no matter the cost. ~~~~~~~~~A week has passed since the attack and they haven't found anything leading to Marcaida's whereabouts. Ava began training again and it was starting to worry Kai, he wouldn't want Ava to become a killer like him. Kai walked to the gym room and saw Ava lifting weights, "Hey, you wanna take a break for a second?" Kai asks, "Sure" Ava puts the weight down and Kai takes a seat beside her. "Ava I know what Marcaida did to Leslie and Marcy is hurting you and I'm not against the idea of your training again but I want you to stop and think, why do you wanna catch Marcaida. Is it for revenge or justice? It's not a great idea to go out in the field with your mindset on revenge, that rage can blind you and get you hurt" Kai clarified. "Kai what did you expect, he hurt my two best friends and I'm not gonna sit back and do nothing, I wanna get this guy and make him pay for everything he's done" Ava replied. They both got out of the car and into the bar. Inside were strippers dancing, people drinking, and everything you would describe as a normal bar. They then walked up to the bartender. "Can we get 2 beers over here?" Kai requested, The bartender hands Ava and Kai their beers and they begin drinking from them. "Do you know someone in here that goes by the name of black bison?" Ava questions. The bartender took one glance at Ava and Kai, "Take a hike slut" He says. "The fuck you just say-" Ava stops Kai in his tracks and chugged the bottle of beer, all of a sudden she gets up and smashes the bottle over the bartender's head, she hops over the counter and holds the broken bottle at his throat, everyone then rushes out of the bar. "Tell me where he is before I swear I'll slit your throat right here, right now" Ava threatened, "I'd listen if I were you, she'll do it" Kai says. "You wouldn't do shit" the bartender spat. Ava then dug the glass deeper into the bartender's throat, and the bartender's throat began to bleed."Ah okay, he's in the back, take this key to open it" The bartender confesses, "That wasn't so hard was it?" Ava asks. She takes the key from the bartender and throws away the glass, she then grabs his head and slams it on the counter, knocking out the bartender. "That was pretty badass of you babe" Kai compliments, "Enough to fuck me? Ava asks. "No but nice try", They both approached the door and opened it, they were hit with the scent of strong weed and B.O.They saw 10 people sitting in a circle and passing around a bong, Kai pulled out his gun and fired a round of shots in the air."This hippie fest is over" He says, Everyone from the circle scattered except one. "Are you the black bison?" Ava asked, "The one and only" The guy replies. "We need you to tell me where Marcaida is" Kai says, "Right now I'm between high and drunk so my memory is a little foggy" Bison claims. "Maybe this will jog your memory" Ava then grabs the gun and hits Black Bison in his head, she then shoots him in his leg. "That son of a bitch Marcaida hurt my two best friends and a bunch of innocent people so I'm not in the right mindset right now, tell me where he is or the next bullet goes in your head" Ava threatened, "Okay! He's gonna be attending an auction tonight at the Diamond Stairway Museum." Bison confesses. "What does he plan on buying?" Kai asks, "A big bomb, a really bib big bomb" Bison replies. "How big are we talking about?' Ava questions, "Bye-Bye eastern Russia". ~~~~~~~~~After hearing about Marcaida's plan, Kai and Ava handed the Black Bison To Officer West and headed back to the mansion.They entered the house and saw Leslie, Luke, Ermani, and Marcy just chilling on the couch, they all turned their heads towards Ava and Kai. "Hey, did you guys find out anything about Marcaida?" Ermani asks, "Well..." Ava and Kai took a seat on the couch. "Marcaida is attending an auction tonight and he plans on buying a huge bomb to destroy the whole eastern area of Russia" Kai reveals, With that said everyone rose from the couch. "That can't be right, are you sure?" Luke asks, "That's approximately 6.3 million people in danger" Marcy calculated. "And all for what?' Leslie asks, "We don't know" Ava responds. "This is crazy, how the fuck are we supposed to stop a lunatic who's hard to track down and who's planning on buying a huge bomb?" Ermani queries, "We have a plan" Kai says. They all huddled together and discussed the plan discreetly, just in case anyone was listening in."Sounds good to me" Luke says, everyone agrees. "Good, Everyone get ready" Kai says, Everyone went their separate ways and was gonna prepare for the night, let me let you guys on the plan. Team A which is Ava, Kai, and Ermani would go in disguised as servers at the event, Team B as in Leslie and Luke was gonna be there as bidders and try to buy the bomb before Marcaida can. It's Team A's job to signal when Marcaida enters the building and Eliminate him no matter the cost but discreetly, Team B on the other hand, they have to bid and win the bomb at all costs, no matter the price.Seems simple enough right? No, because the plan can go off the rails at any point. ~~~~~~It's 9:03 at night and everyone pulls up to the back of the Diamond Stairway Museum, Ermani knocks out the guard while Kai and Luke kidnap three waiters and take their uniforms. Ava, Kai, and Ermani put on the rubber face disguises, mics, and the uniform while Leslie and Luke dressed as rich bidders. "Okay does everyone remember the plan?" Kai questions, "Yes, for the last time, we don't have time to waste" Ermani says. "Okay, Let's go", They all enter the museum through the back door, as they enter the main floor they see the room crowded with people in rich gowns and fancy masks. They all separated, All Team A members each took a corner of the room while serving champagnes. 15 minutes passed by and the auction was about to start."Anyone have eyes on Marcaida?" Ermani questions, "I don't see him," Ava says. Everyone looked around the room but couldn't find Marcaida, "Are you sure that guy black bison wasn't just lying to you guys" Luke asked, "I'm definitely sure" Kai replies. "What makes you so sure about that?" Ava asks, "Because I'm looking at him right now, he's towards the south wing". Everyone looks towards the south wing and saw Marcaida sipping on champagne, "Now It's up to Leslie and Luke".
