Chapter 59: Two Lines

"He's gonna free Garai" Kai says, "Okay guys we gotta go now to make sure that doesn't happen" Ermani says. "Okay let's go", "Okay I'm coming with you guys" Ava says. "Ava baby no, I can't risk you getting hurt. The both of us going to Garai together is just a chance for him to kill us both and get stronger. I need you to stay here just in case something happens to me, when I get resurrected I need you to find me" Kai says, "Please be careful". Ava gives Kai one last kiss before leaving out the door with Ermani and Luke. "Hey guys, could you follow me for a second?" Ava asks, "Actually if you guys don't mind I have something to take care of" Felicity says. "It's fine, see you later", "Okay". Marcy and Leslie followed Ava to her room, Ava reached into her nightstand and pulled out a small box. "Is that a pregnancy test?" Leslie asks, "Yes, I need you guys with me just in case it says positive" Ava said. "Don't worry, we're here for you" Marcy says, "Yeah, what she said" Leslie joins. Ava went inside the bathroom and locked the door, she opened the box and took the test out, she sat on the toilet and began peeing on this stick. She released a shaky breath as she took the test and put it on the counter.Ava opened the door and let Leslie and Marcy inside the bathroom, they all sat on the floor and waited."You're not alone Ava" Leslie says, "We'll help you take care of the baby if you're pregnant" Marcy assures. "What will Kai think? Yesterday I asked him what he thought of kids and he said it makes him tick" Ava muttered, "Man I'm gonna break my foot up his ass" Leslie argues. "I'm sure he'll feel differently about It" Marcy says. "All the cramps and pain pregnant women go through, scares the living shit out of me" Ava confessed, "You're the strongest bitch we know, you'll get through it easily" Leslie says. "I hope you're right" Ava mutters, "We are right, now grab that goddamn stick and read the results" Marcy says. Kai's POVAfter 2 hours Kai, Luke, and Ermani finally made it to the GreatHouse Peak, they ran out of the car and approached the pit. They saw drag marks on the ground, "I think we might be too late" Luke says. "Shit" Kai cursed. "We still gotta check" Ermani says, "Okay stand back, Siluno!" Kai casted. Suddenly staircases appeared, leading them into the pit, "Come on, we don't have much time before it disappears" he says. They all ran downstairs the stairs and into the pit, they turned the corner and saw the chains that were holding Garai were dangling, "Shit we-" All of a sudden they felt the pit shaking unsteadily and rocks began falling. "Of Course it's a trap" Ermani complained, "The pathways are probably blocked" Luke says. "Everyone hold onto me" Luke and Ermani hold onto Kai, "Clariid!" Suddenly the shaking stopped, they opened their eyes and realized that they were teleported back to the mansion, they all released a deep breath they didn't know they were holding."Shit man, you came in clutch this time" Ermani says, "Yeah nice save dude" Luke joined. Suddenly the girls came running down the stairs, Ava found her way in Kai's hands. "Are you okay? I heard a loud sound" Ava says, "Yeah I'm fine- Have you been crying?" Kai asks. "What?-no don't worry about it", "You sure?" Kai insisted. "What?-no don't worry about it", "By the time we got there the pit was empty" Ermani says. "Why'd Marcaida free Garai? Even more so, how did he know about Garai and about us?", "I don't know but whatever it is, this is gonna be a hard fight that we need to prepare for" Kai says. Marcaida's POVMarcaida, Garai, and his men are now back in Detroit, in search of Ludriel. "Why do we need that jackass anyways?" Garai asks, "He's a great fighter and so happens to be the leader of The League Of Solstice plus he's been a huge challenge for Kai in the past" Marcaida explains. "Whatever you say", "However Because of that whore at Kai's side, Ludriel is dead so I need you to bring him back to life" Marcaida says. "Wow, imagine being killed by a girl," Garai taunts, "That "girl" can take your head off if you hesitate, wasn't she the one who put a knife through your skull?" Marcaida brought up."Whatever" Garai says, After a couple of minutes, the car came to a stop outside a small cemetery, they got out of the car and after walking for a couple of seconds they stopped at a headstone that had the words "Pydris Strera". "This is him, start digging" Marcaida orders, Ma.rcaida's men grab shovels and begin digging, Marcaida and Garai get back to the car and wait patiently. After a couple of minutes they heard a knock on the window so they opened the door. "We've finished digging and bringing up the coffin sir" A henchman said, Marcaida and Garai got out of the car and approached Ludriel's coffin, one of the men grabbed a crowbar and broke it open, they looked inside and saw nothing but bones, rotten flesh, and a bunch of bugs."Okay, you're up" Marcaida says, Garai walks closer to the casket and hovers both his hands over it. "Extiate Vulgendio, Inceptinio Hidectus" Garai chanted, his hands began glowing a bright whitee color. "Impedimundis Horribeseo" Garai kept chanting those words when all of sudden the bones in the coffin began to shake, after a couple of seconds the bones came together, forming a skeleton with all the bones in the right place.They all stood and watched as the flesh welded onto the bones and began forming in thin air."Now that's fucking disgusting" Marcaida commented. After a couple of seconds, inside the casket laid Ludriel's body with all features and not a detail missing. "Redori" Suddenly a loud gasp came from Ludriel's mouth, Ludriel quickly rose from the casket while tracing his hand all over his body. "What the fuck happened? Who are you?" Ludriel asks, "The man with the answers to all of your questions" Marcaida replied. ~~~~~~~~After a couple of minutes of explaining to Ludriel everything that happened, he was finally caught up to it. "Okay what do we do now?" Ludriel queried, "We pay them a little visit". Ava and Kai's POV Ava went back to her room and lay on the bed and under the covers, her mind was racing with questions, and thoughts and she was mostly overthinking, she then heard the door open. "Hey, are you okay?" Kai asks, "Yeah it's nothing, I think I'm just under the weather" Ava claims. Kai walked into the bathroom and locked the door, "Kai I have something to tell you" Ava then felt the side of the bed behind her dip down. "I'm listening, princess," A voice said., "I-wait a minute" Ava jumped out of the bed and looked behind her, she was taken aback when her eyes laid upon the face of Ludriel. "L-Ludriel?" she asks, "Hey, miss me?" He asked. Suddenly Kai came bursting from behind the bathroom door, he gave the same response Ava did when she saw Ludriel."What the fuck are you doing here! You're supposed to be fucking dead!" Kai exclaimed, "I had two very kind friends to help me," Ludriel says. "What the fuck do you want?" Ava questioned, "Calm down sugar lips, I just wanted to check up on you guys". " Hey guys are y'all okay I heard shouting-" Ermani looked up from the floor and saw Ludriel, alive as day. "Damn, must be a monday" he says, "Wassup Ermani my man!" Ludriel asks. Without notice, Ermani took out his gun and fired a shot at Ludriel, but the shot didn't hit Ludriel, it just went straight to the ground. "Oh I forgot to tell you guys, one of my new friends gave me a protection spell so now, you guys can't stop me, Clariid!" Ludriel then vanished out of the room. "Well we're screwed, "Ermani says.
