SOMEONE

"Forty-three days, it took forty-three days to stand right here."

A dark room surrounded by gray walls, a cold floor with several claw marks, who do you think they were from?

"She called for help, asked for mercy, but pleaded for no help."

The blood flowed down the path, along the arms over the fingertips to the floor. It pooled on the floor and slowly sank into the slits in the floor.

"I would have thought you'd have more potential in your career, oddly enough you probably didn't this time, what a pity actually. The little one was pretty and smart, but unfortunately you could never see that, your ego and pride are scratching you too much."

"Where do you get that from?!" I finally screamed, my voice sounding like a beep despite my efforts.

He laughed. He laughed about me. About her. About everything.

"You were a stupid fool and now look what it got you, actually I could have taken her as selfish but that wouldn't have affected her father like this variant."

"You're sick! How can you be so sick? So blind with hate? You disgust me!" Screamed my voice full of anger and hate against him.

"Nothing really new to me." If he said it casually, it would even be a compliment.

"You're no good, Jennie, you're weak, helpless and you're responsible for all of that, the little one. She wasn't worth living on. Haven't you seen how soft she made you, how unfocused you became. The girl fell under her spell and you were at her mercy."

"That's not true!" I pushed out and tried to hold back a tear. How weak was I just now? That's exactly what he wanted!

"You are pathetic, you are weak, you are useless."

"Stop it! You are a monster!"

"Why? Because I took away the love of your life?"

I swallowed. Yes, that was exactly the reason, he took her away from me, he took away my love. My everything.

"Isn't love beautiful? She can make you so happy but also destroy you like that." The man in front of me laughed maliciously.

His laugh, that shrill ugly laugh echoed in my head. It was like an echo that kept repeating itself and wouldn't stop.

"She can make you so happy but also destroy you like that."

"She can make you so happy but also destroy you like that."

"She can make you so happy but also destroy you like that."

The words echoed in my head. He was right, I had made myself weak, made myself useless and actually surrendered myself too.

Love is blind, love is senseless and useless. It makes you vulnerable and too emotional. So many things that lead to death in my job.

"I didn't mean to harm you-"

"Not quite." He added.

"I wanted to show you what it does to you and what it brings in the end. Actually, I helped you."

I laughed mockingly and shook my head.

"Don't pretend you did it with good intentions, don't tell yourself it's okay. You are a monster whose life will end one way or another."

"Oh yes? From who? You?"

He pointed to my cuffs around my ankles and wrists.

"Do not you see it? I tricked you, Jennie. You're not going to get out of here alive." His laugh was sure of victory and in a funny way he reflected his pride.

"Are you really sure about that?" His laughter stopped.

"What do you mean? Of course I'm sure!"

"I never go into a first plan without having a second." I now spoke confidently and grinned at him outwittedly.

"What?"

He didn't seem to understand, but I couldn't explain it to him either, because the next moment several police officers came in and aimed their guns at Suho and his troop.

"Surprised?" I laughed and freed myself from the bonds.

Suho looked at me in shock.

"But how?!" He screamed hysterically and tried to free himself from the constraints of the 2 police officers.

"They were just waiting for my sign outside. It was all planned, from start to end."

"I'll get back at you, Kim!" He screamed before the men took him out of the hall. Chief of Police Holmes came up to me and tapped me on the shoulder.

"It's always an honor to work with you." I nodded and looked around.

She was still lying on the floor... bloodied...

I slowly approached her and crouched down in front of her.

"It's too late... She's dead." I heard someone talking behind me which I immediately faded out.

I slowly stroked her blond hair behind her like I used to and smiled slightly.

"I will always love you, Bella."
