LIAM
"Please, what?!" Jennie's voice could clearly be heard.
"Dude, I'm worried about my sister right now. Why are they arguing like that?" Anthony sighed.
"It's a long story and they'll have to tell you."
A door flew open and loud footsteps could be heard. Almost like over-dramatic rumbling.
"That's it!" We looked at Jennie in confusion.
"I go. I'll look for another mission. I'm not doing this anymore. Anthony, you take over for me." We looked at Jennie, a little overwhelmed.
"Chill, what's over?" But Jennie didn't listen and turned her back on us and left the house.
"I'll take a look." I said straight away and went after Jennie.
ANTHONY
I went upstairs to Jennie's room. At least that's where I thought Lisa was. She sat on the floor crying.
"Hey, Lisa." I sat down next to her and started hugging her, I think she just needed that.
"Thanks." She sniffed softly and leaned back on my shoulder.
"I messed up. Such a giant Fuck."
"Oh dear." I tried to appease her.
"Really, Anthony. I told her something... A lie. It was supposed to hurt her because she hurt me before, but now I regret everything. It was a stupid move to even tell her and then lie about it." I sat up, confused.
"What did you do? What did you say?" Lisa looked at me tearfully.
"I'm pregnant, Anthony." Speechless, I held my breath for a moment.
"Pregnant?" She nodded. "And I completely blew it because I told her it was from Damon."
"It's from Damon?!"
"No! Not at all! Of course it's from Jennie. She is the only one who can possibly be. I was just angry and confused. She broke up with me, said she didn't want to see me anymore, wanted to quit her job and start a great family somewhere without me and our child."
"Did she say that before you came out about your pregnancy or did she say that afterward?"
"Before that... That's why I couldn't say it was hers anymore."
"Lisa." I sighed and stroked her the arm.
"We will find a solution." I tried to soothe her.
"Oh yes? And how?" She asked incredulously.
"You have to tell Jennie the truth. Say why you did it. She will be happy."
"Just because it didn't work the first time."
"That wasn't nice, Lisa." Rolling her eyes, she turned away from me.
"You act like she's still alive! She is dead! She has no feelings anymore! But I have feelings and apparently no one cares. It's always about ensuring that Bella's honor remains intact." Shaking my head, I walked away from her.
"Yes, she is dead. But she was one of my best friends. Do you think I would just throw my best friend's honor into the mud like that? Do you think just because you're Jennie's girlfriend that you have the right to attack her? Why can't you understand that Jennie loves you?"
"I want to be the person who loves Jennie the most, the one who owns her whole heart. But Bella will always have a big place in her heart and I can't handle that!"
"Come on, let's take you to your room. Sleep first. This stress is not good for a pregnant woman."
She breathed quietly and nodded. I helped her up and took her to her room. There I helped her onto the bed and left the room. There was definitely too much stress and drama here.
"And?"
Startled, I looked up and saw Liam standing at the bottom of the stairs.
"You're back? What about Jennie?" He sighed.
"I quickly lost her but she will come back. At least to get her things. What about Lisa?"
"She's not in a good state. It's too much stress for her and her k- knee." I had completely forgotten that Liam didn't know anything about the child.
"Knee?"
"Yes, she is in pain sometimes. Nothing wild." Liam looked at me skeptically.
"And that's what stress causes?" I nodded.
"Yes, that makes her feel more pain. The stress puts double the strain on her body."
"Alright." Liam said, turning toward the living room.
"Shall we watch something?"
"Gladly." I said and smiled.
