LISA

"Jennie?" She looked down from her cell phone.

We were just sitting on the terrace of my room and enjoying the newly dawned day. Of course, Jennie had slept somewhere else. Sadly.

"I want to talk to you about something, two things to be exact." Her attention increased and she began to nod slowly.

"Question 1-"

"Why do you have a cell phone and I don't?" Jennie started grinning.

"Gosh and I thought something serious was coming." I waited a little tensely for her answer.

"We might get you one, but you can't have social media or regular contacts there." I nodded. Better than nothing, right?

"And now for the second thing..." I hesitated. She beamed at me. SHe had no idea what I wanted to say.

"I-" I took a deep breath. Jennie's smile faded and she looked at me confused.

"I read through the files."

"Which?" Her tone was significantly different than usual. A mixture of pent-up anger and nervousness.

"My-" I paused for a moment.

"Bella's." Her eyes got bigger. So there was the sore point.

"Don't tell me you read them." Anger could clearly be heard now.

"Yes." I tried to be halfway normal say. I got an uneasy feeling.

Suddenly she stood up, knocked over the chair and started shouting. As if she was screaming out all her anger. Before I knew it she started banging on the wall of the house. I screamed in fright. I never knew her to be so angry. I got up and quickly went into the room. Jennie followed me. Her neck veins were sticking out.

"What were you thinking?!" She shouted at me.

I continued to dodge as she got closer to me.

"I- I wanted to know-"

"What did you want to know?! Why do you have to interfere in everything?! Can't you just turn off your mind and your curiosity and just do what I tell you! When will this get into your head?" SHe screamed and screamed and screamed.

Where had my girlfriend gone? My loving girlfriend?

"Can you calm down-"

"Are you kidding me?! I'm supposed to calm down?"

I was pressed against the wall. I couldn't avoid it any further. Jennie walked the last few meters towards me before putting her hand against the wall right next to me. An unwanted tear escaped my eye.

"Why do you always ruin everything, Lisa?" She spoke more calmly than before. However, I knew that her anger was far from over.

"Why?!" She shouted again, hitting the wall next to me.

The door burst open and two familiar faces were visible.

"What the- Jennie?!" Anthony shouted angrily before pulling her away.

Liam came towards me. He took me by the hand and led me out of the room. Away from Jennie.

I woke up bathed in sweat. It's all just a dream...

I was breathing heavily, but I was relieved. Would Aideen really react like that? + I shook my head to compose myself. I had to find out more about Stella. It was still dark when I got up. Aideen's room was only two rooms away. + I left my room and quietly crept over to his. As I opened the door I heard soft breathing. I crept past his bed, to his nightstand. His cell phone was there. + I reached for it.

Password protected. Damn it.

I considered it shrewdly. Her birthday? No. - Graduation day? No. - My birthday? No - Would have been too great... I had one last attempt.

"Fuck it." I whispered and entered the day she became my bodyguard. Sure enough, the phone opened. .

I searched her cell phone. What kind of girlfriend was I? Her chats didn't promise much. Which is why I went to the gallery. To be honest, I was afraid of finding any porn. 4054 images. Perfect.

Jennie continued to sleep peacefully. So I started looking through her pictures. I felt bad at the thought but I finally wanted to know who Bella was and how they related to each other.

Jennie had accumulated images from several years ago. In the first few years I found absolutely nothing. But after about 12 minutes I was at the oldest year.

I found a bunch of pictures with her and a girl. Was that her?

She had blonde hair and was beautiful. It couldn't be his sister. They looked too different for that.

I gulped as I saw another series of pictures. There they kissed.

A lump sat in my throat as I put the phone back and disappeared from her room and back into mine.

It was more than clear to me that Jennie already had a girlfriend. Of course, I expected it, but the fact that she still has pictures of her kissing... that makes it so bad.

I wouldn't keep any pictures of my ex and especially not where I kiss them. I lay back in bed somewhat dejected.
