I refuse to sit here and try to prove my worth,
I refuse to chase after you,
I refuse to allow someone to not show me effort,
I refuse to convince you that I am worth something.
I know what I've been through,
I know the parts of me I've healed,
I know the parts of me still healing,
I know what my value is.
If I want you to be apart of my life, it's for a reason.
If I allow you to see parts of me nobody gets to see, it's for a reason.
I would hope that you see the value in me,
Like the way I see the value in you.
