A small content smile graces my lips,
Knowing for once something in my life clicks.
I've been shown the ways I've always needed,
Now knowing how I require to be treated.
I shake my head at the silliness of me,
Wondering how I ever thought this couldn't be.
The experience of seeing what I've always dreamed,
Fortifying my ability to know it can be believed.
