I know you're a waste of time to think about.
At least you're becoming a less common occurrence,
But as soon as that song plays on my gym playlist;
Talkin' about butterflies in my head
I used to think that happy endings were only in the books I read,
But you made me feel alive when I was almost dead.
I can't help but skip it,
Otherwise I'm stuck with my head on your lap and the moon shining down on us.
