2022-2023

As my hands slide across the sheets,

Eyes still closed as the lingering feeling of your fingers on my collarbone sets me on fire.
The roughness of your palm causing a shiver to ripple through my body.
A lump in my throat as I attempt to be as silent as can be,
Not willing to break the moment being shared.

Eyes still closed as I can feel your skin beneath my hands as I move them across your shoulders.
Wondering if my touch awakes you like yours does mine,
Such simple gestures casting me off to the land of bliss.
The way I would lightly brush my lips against yours,
Challenging you to resist the temptation I'm giving.

Eyes still closed as I can feel your smile against the delicate skin of my neck,
The giggle passing by my lips with pure happiness.
Wrapping myself around you in a way to transfer my absolute glee from my body to yours.
Holding your hands within mine,
the difference in size always intriguing.

Eyes still closed as I can feel your face between my hands,
Smiling and staring into the depths of the secrets you keep in your eyes.
Pressing kisses along your face, the pure need of wanting you to know,
That no matter the circumstances, I would be yours.

As my hands slide across the sheets,
The coldness of them reminding me I'm living in the past.
