Her finger nails dig into the skin on his back, attempting to somehow mould their two bodies together.
Savouring the feeling between them; the warmth his body provides, the roughness of his fingertips on her spine, the snuggle of his nose against her ear.
It's a bliss she's spends time engraving into her memory, same with the feelings that are surging through her heart.
Creating a moment for her to return to when things feel like a never ending war, a torch in the darkness for her to cling to.
A gentle reminder that this is what she truly fights for; her love, her bliss, her future.
