3rd POV
On Remnant 68 we find the world to be positively thriving. Its citizens smile and converse with each other, just enjoying life. Jumping to Sweet Street we come to a tall building, heading inside the top floor and we see Faunus struggling to fix a tie. A giggle fills the air as Blake walks into view, helping him.
Blake: "I don't get it. You can go toe to toe with a primordial force, yet you struggle with a tie?"
Faunus: "The tie isn't actively trying to kill me."
She smirks before quickly tightening the tie, making Faunus gulp.
Blake: "It could just be waiting to attack."
Rolling his eyes he turns around to see Mark and Susan joining them, each dressed up.
Faunus: "You guys ready?"
Mark: "Yep."
Susan: "Yes."
Blake: "Then let's get going."
Loading up into a van they drive to downtown Vale.
Faunus POV
Parking the van we exit to see the place beyond packed. As we shuffle to our seat I hear a voice.
???: "So you can dress nicely."
I turn seeing a certain blonde.
Faunus: "You're one to talk. You wore the same clothes for like six months."
Yang: "That's because it was iconic."
We smile as she pats my shoulder.
Yang: "How you holding up?"
Faunus: "Good. Just tired mostly."
???: "I bet."
The others soon join us.
Ruby: "This' a big moment for you guys."
Pyrrha: "More so for Noir."
We hear a throat clear. Looking forward we see Noir behind a podium.
Noir: "Good morning everyone. Genetics have always been a hot topic. Many people believed them to be impossible to change. But my father is proof it's possible. By finding harmony in genetic chaos he uses countless abilities to keep this world, among may others safe. And so with his DNA blueprints, and gracious backing from my aunt Weiss, we are able to spread his harmony to everyone through..."
A massive curtain is dropped showing a state of the art science center.
Noir: "Goodwitch's Second Chance."
I look down sadly. Blake holds my hand.
Noir: "Like the name suggests this place will offer people with second chances at life. Because that's who Glynda Goodwitch was, a savior. She saved my father from a life of experiments. And so we'll continue that tradition. Here people with fatal genetic conditions will be given that second chance. We'll work till the end of time to solve their problem so that, like my father, they too can live a long life. Thank you."
She receives a standing ovation. After the ceremony we join Noir inside. Spotting us she smiles before walking our way.
Noir: "So what'd you guys think?"
Blake: "Your were phenomenal sweetie."
Noir: "Thanks. I just wish aunt Glynda was here to see it."
We all become slightly sad.
Noir: "But I know that her and uncle Ozpin would have been proud."
Our mood is picked back up.
Nora: "Speaking of Oz. How's little Ozzy?"
She smiles while rubbing her very round belly.
Noir: "Safe to say he's ready to get out. He's been kicking more as of late."
Jaune: "Is Lucas nervous?"
Noir: "Positively petrified. He stayed up all last night fixing up the nursery."
Ren: "The first few months are always rough."
Weiss: "But given your powers I'm sure it'll be a cinch."
Ruby: "But it'll be chaos once he develops his."
Noir: "Most definitely. But thankfully I'll have you guys to help me."
We laugh when my scroll dings.
