Fear Me

Faunus POV

Deus' fists clench so hard they start trembling.

Deus: "Not afraid?"

He looks up at me. A red aura surrounds him. The corners of his mouth split open as his teeth sharpen to a point. Fiery embers surround his hand before bursting into a dagger. He then displays a crazed smile.

Deus: "I'll make you afraid!!!"

3rd POV

In a blink of an eye Deus gets in front of Faunus and swings his dagger. Faunus leans back, watching the blade come a nanometer from catching his eye. Deus fixes his mistake by kneeing Faunus' ribs. But Faunus side flips and kicks out Deus' legs. Now in the air Faunus brings his elbow down of Deus' stomach, sending him into the dirt.

Deus hooks Faunus' ankles and yanks. Faunus plants his hand and pushes himself back onto his feet which crash onto Deus' chest. Deus turns, pinning Faunus down. He goes to plunge his dagger but Faunus catches his wrist, stopping him. Deus uses his other had to slowly push the dagger down.

Deus: "Push push or you'll get turned to mush."

The Seed glows causing an lamppost to knock Deus off.

Deus: "You know. I'm glad it's just you and I. I'd dread to know how your uncle would react if he were here."

Faunus: "Don't talk about him!!"

He goes for a right hook. But Deus uses the broad side of his dagger to catch it.

Deus: "Yes, dear old Uncle Ozpin. I heard about him when watching your history. He had such high hopes for you. Glad he's dead, it's sparing him from disappointment."

Faunus: "Shut up!!!"

Faunus goes for a high kick. But Deus grabs his ankle.

Deus: "But the one I truly feel sorry for is aunt Glynda. The caretaker. Your savior. I was there when she died. I can tell you about it if you want."

Faunus: "I said shut up!!!!"

He web yanks Deus close. Faunus attempts to elbow drop Deus' neck. But Deus impales Faunus' foot.

Deus: "She screamed in her final moments It was so pathetic. No way for a savior to go out."

Faunus: "I'll kill you!!!"

He goes for a right hook.

Deus: "There it is. Vanish."

He appears behind Faunus, putting a finger gun to the back of his head.

Deus: "Bang."

Faunus' head rattles as something goes through it. He turns around where we see his left eye turning red as blood rushes in. His pupil then heavily dilates signaling a concussion.

Faunus POV

The whole world is consumed by a ringing noise. To top it off the left side of my vision goes blurry. I look at Deus who speaks but it's muffled.

Faunus: *slurred* "Is that all... you got?"

3rd POV

He goes for a right hook. But the ringing coupled with the blurred vision makes his punch get nowhere close to its target. Deus catches Faunus' wrist and smiles.

Deus: "Pathetic. Just when I starting to enjoy myself."

He sends his elbow into Faunus' solar plexus. He collapses to the floor, dropping the Seed. Deus picks it up.

Deus: "You were the only person to ever not fear me. So instead of domination I'm going with annihilation. Because Creator knows I can't stand living in a reality where someone stopped fearing me."

He looks at Faunus.

Deus: "Embrace oblivion."

With no effort or mercy he crushes the Seed into nothingness. Light expands, blinding everything.
