Remnant 1 Confrontation

Faunus POV

My eyes widen, how? How is this possible?

Speed: "How do you have John's face?"

Deus: "You like it? I admit it's the last face I wanted. But his body possessed too much power to pass up."

Super: "Why're you after the keys?"

Deus: "Because it'll lead me to the power to finally destroy you lot once and for all."

Rider: "We won't let you get to it."

Deus laughs.

Deus: "Foolish heroes. I've already won. You just don't know it yet."

He looks at his closed hand.

Deus: "Transmute."

A glow is seen emitting from his hand. When it stops he opens his hand to reveal a silver key. Lifting his cloak he hooks the key to a chain which houses five similar keys.

Y/N: "The keys."

Deus: "Yes. Poor John makes five. That means I just need two more and that power will be mine."

Iron: "We won't let you anywhere near those keys."

They suit up.

Deus: "I'm a lot closer than you think."

Amica roars before running towards Deus.

Deus: "Insolent beast."

Amica sends his arms into the ground. Deus jumps as dozens of spikes narrowly miss.

Deus: "That the best you got? Fi-"

A metal band hits his mouth, shutting him up. I look to see Iron lower his arm.

Iron: "We know about your power. We just gotta keep you from speaking."

A chain is wrapped around Deus' chest.

Rider: "Enjoy your flight."

Super zips in punching him backwards. Speed grabs his neck before running him up what remains of a building. At the top he lets go of Deus. From them I web his chest and yank him down. When he hits the ground Iron makes rockets rain down, covering the area with smoke.

Cronos: "Nice combo."

We join him.

Iron: "But doubt he went down that easy."

When the smoke clears we don't see his body anywhere.

Amica: "Maybe he did go down that easy."

Deus: "You lot have gotten stronger."

We look around, trying to find him.

Deus: "But all this means is this won't be a one sided fight."

My entire back lights up forcing me into a backflip. I then pull myself down, sending my feet into Deus' back. He vanishes when he reappears swinging a sword at my face. I duck but at the same time another Deus appears, this time kicking my back.

I tumble across the ground before flipping onto my feet. A rocket is fired at Deus but it magically veers off course. I however use a web to catch it and swing it into his side. He tanks the hit before snapping his fingers. But as the fire expands it's suddenly stopped dead in its tracks.

Cronos: "No you don't."

His turs his hand counterclockwise. The fire goes back towards Deus until it explodes in his face. He narrows his eyes before making a break for Cronos.
