Matt hated the pregnancy pillow.

It was his Mom's fault. You told her you were having trouble sleeping with how much growing the baby was doing lately. And a few days later, she dropped it off.

He hated it because he couldn't be the little spoon anymore and you cuddled the thing more than him, and it pushed him out of bed.

You looked cute when you snuggled with it, so he couldn't complain too much.

Sleeping next to a pregnant woman wasn't for the weak. He was hanging out of bed that morning, his back stretched and sore from lying in a warped position for too long. You were deeply sleeping beside him, getting comfortable. He rolled over and groaned and watched you sleep. He smiled as your eyelashes fluttered as you squeezed the pillow closer.

Matt hauled himself up and leaned over to kiss your forehead.

"Babe..?" You stirred from your sleep.

Matt froze like a little kid who was caught in the Halloween Candy stash.

"Don't say it"

You pressed. "You need to go have them looked at"

Matt watched you blink slowly and look over the edge of the pillow. Matt was reminded of the throbbing pain in his jaw.

"It's not that bad" he tried to downplay, rubbing his cheek. It was sore to touch, maybe swollen. This was going on for a few weeks and he was able to ignore it until recently. He couldn't chew food because a tooth was prodding through his gums.

"Good morning to you too"

"Good morning, baby" You urged him closer to you so you could kiss him. "You could barely brush your teeth without your eyes watering"

He couldn't argue with you there. Every dentist he's been to wanted him to take his wisdom teeth out. With his busy lifestyle, it would take a couple of weeks to have it done and rest. Now, he was twenty four, a baby on the way and he was still putting it off.

He was scared. He never had surgery before. Drawing blood was enough to give him a panic attack.

"It's okay" he stressed. "I can live with it" He looked at you.

"Yes, but can I?" You teased, rolling towards him and kissing his jaw. With his expression, yours softened. "Honestly, babe. They do this all the time. There's nothing to worry about" You stroked his arm. If you weren't pregnant, you could've sat on him and cuddled him. "I'll take care of you" You offered. "I'll make you food, we will cuddle in bed and watch TV"

"You make me sound old"

"You have to eat like an old man for a while"

"We do need to catch up on Stranger Things" He raised his brow.

You scooted up and stretched your bare legs in front of you. "And maybe I'll film the aftermath of your surgery and post it on tik tok" You bit your lip to keep in the laughter.

He narrowed his eyes. "You're cruel" He teased, untangling himself from the blanket, swung his legs over your thighs and settling himself on your thighs

"Kissing me with your morning breath" He moved himself forward and deepened the kiss. You squirmed under him, trying to push him off your legs.

"Let me see your stomach" He pushed your shirt up and kissed your belly. "We're never making her get her wisdom teeth out"

You rolled your eyes. "Alright, babe" You ran your fingers through his hair when he pressed more kisses against your stomach. "You still need to have yours out"
