It was the weekend, which meant Ruby could sleep for hours. Ruby cuddled with the pillow as she brought it closer to her. Her dorm mates went to the great hall to have their breakfast, leaving Ruby alone.

Sirius Black sneaked inside the girls' dorm along with James to complete his mission :prank Ruby. And he was determined to do it.

"Prongs, you wait there and say whether people are coming," Sirius whispered as he took careful steps toward her bed. Seeing her sleepy figure, he can't help but admire her features.

Her closed eyelids, cherry like lips without any lip gloss, and the way her hair was brushing her cheek. Sirius didn't know why, but if staring Ruby was a hobby, he would happily do it.

"Enough of admiring her," James said, which made Sirius snap off the trance and glare at James. He soon concentrated and pranked Ruby by turning her hair, bald. He stifled his laughter and slowly paced his steps back. Sirius looked at James, whose face was red because of controlling his laughter.

Once the duo got out of the girls' dorm, they burst into fits of laughter. James slapped Sirius's arm several times, which made his guffaw fade and just stare at James, who was still laughing.

"Stop, stop─ ouch! It's paining, Prongs!" Sirius yelled at him, which made James look at him with teary eyes. He soon wiped his eyes as his laughter faded.

"I'm sorry about that, but what you did was outstanding!" James encouraged Sirius;who grinned proudly. But soon, their happy moment was disturbed by a scream from the girls dorm.

There, near the stairs leading to the respective dorms, the pranksters saw a bald Ruby; who was fuming with anger. She thanked God that the common room was empty, or else, she would've buried herself under the soil.

"You both! Be ready to die!" She yelled, marching towards them as the duo towards the exit of the common room.

"Colloportus!" Ruby casted as the door locked itself. And at that time, Sirius and James knew that they were in deep shit.

Ruby entered the great hall with a hoodie covering her head. As for James and Sirius, they entered with messy hair and pink hair. And the thought of wearing a hoodie didn't even strike their mind. People in the hall laughed at them, which made Sirius just dig himself six feet below the ground.

But, somehow, James wasn't that invested in that thought. What made him happy was that Lily was also included in the laughing crowd.

" Good morning, Ruby," Remus greeted as he took a bite of the toast. Ruby nodded her head, which made Remus frown in confusion.

"Are you doing good, Ru─ oh, merlin! What happened to your hair? " Remus asked in shock. If someone pranked the Marauders, then that person must've got some guts to do it.

"You could ask that to your loving sister," Sirius said roughly as he took a seat beside Peter; who wasn't even bothered about their hair. All that mattered to him at that time was:food.

"You did that to them?" Remus asked as Ruby nodded their head. Remus laughed a little and shook his head.

"Why would you do that?" He once again asked her. She glared at James and Sirius before averting her gaze from them and looking at Remus.

"They pranked me," she muttered and took a sip of the soup.

"What did you guys do?" Remus asked with a sigh. James and Sirius looked at each other with a sheepish smile. Remus took the glass in his hand as he brought it closer to his lips.

"Uh─ we apparently made your sister bald for one hour," Remus choked on his drink, making the duo laugh at his reaction. Soon, their laughter faded once they saw Ruby glaring at them.

"And don't worry, according to my instincts, she might get her hair anytime," James said, making Ruby roll her eyes.

"I've lost my dignity! No girls would fall for me after this incident!" Sirius exclaimed dramatically, taking a bite of the toast.

"I've saved your life from them, be grateful," Ruby said in an annoyed tone, which made Sirius scowl.

"You're jealous of my hair!" He yelled, which made Ruby heave a sigh. She took off her hoodie once she felt her hair growing. Her bangs, somehow messy hair, and a tee shirt with baggy pants made her look captivative for Sirius.

"As if I would," she said in an unbothered tone and focused on eating her breakfast.

One thing Sirius and James had learned from this so-called prank. Which is not to mess with Ruby, especially a grumpy Ruby.
