Sirius entered the common room with an enthusiastic smile, as always with the blanket in his hand and he had no idea about the owner of it. But, he was glad that some angel made him feel warm.

"Hey, Ruba!" He greeted and took a seat beside her.

"Hey" she replied without even glancing at him as she continued to bite her nails.

"Where's your infamous dialogue 'it's Ruba, dumb-arse'?" He said in a high pitched tone, trying to mimick her voice but she just ignored him. And that made the boy confused.

"Ruba, what happened?" He asked in a 'serious' tone.

"Uh- do you know Nathaniel Jonz?" She asked turning aside only to see his face closer to her. She quickly backed away and cleared her throat, trying to hide the little blush that was creeping on her cheek.

"Nathaniel? That useless hufflepuff guy?" He asked for confirmation as she nodded her head.

"I don't know him but I do kinda know him" Ruby gave him a dead stare as Sirius chuckled at her reaction.

"Do you happen to know him?" She asked the question again.

"Nah! Why would I hang out with that imbecile? He's boring" Sirius said by scrunching his nose.

"Then what do you mean by 'I do kinda know him' ?" She asked, air quoting it with her fingers.

"We just teased him in the past, y'know? Like scaring him off by displaying a frog in front of him, wow! Golden memories" Sirius said with a dramatic sigh which made Ruby to roll her eyes.

"You're not that old- no. You are old" she said and flicked his forehead before walking to her dorm with a mischievous smile displayed in her lips.

"Ouch! How dare you!" Sirius exclaimed.

"Thanks for the idea, Black!" She said, before disappearing from his sight but what she missed was a wide eyed Sirius. The way his last name rolled off her tongue was just blissful to his ears.

Oh boy! She's making me go crazy!

Ruby and Eleanor were hiding behind the great hall door for a certain hufflepuff to enter. Eleanor was fiddling with her fingers which got noticed by Ruby.

"Are you sure that what we're gonna do is worth?" Eleanor asked.

"Worthy enough for me to get into detention with Filch" Ruby replied which made her friend to let out a sigh.

The duo heard laughing sounds from behind as they acted casually. Ruby acted like she was talking with Eleanor but she wasn't , her eyes were fixed on Nathaniel who just entered the great hall to have his breakfast along with a slytherin chick.

"Let's go" Ruby said, dragging Eleanor with her. The duo went to the Hufflepuff table and stood behind Nathaniel as he was talking with the slytherin girl while taking his toast.

"Hey!" Ruby chimed in with smile, which was absolutely fake.

"Uh- do I know you?" He asked, Looking at you and Eleanor with disgusting look. Eleanor gritted her teeth and stood silently.

"Actually no, but, you see some random gryffindor girl said to give this to you" Ruby said, looking inside her bag.

"A gryffindor girl?" He asked with a smile as he removed his arm from the slytherin girl.

"Yeah" she said.

"What's the gift?" He asked with expectant eyes. Ruby took a small pouch from her bag and opened it slowly.

And once the pouch was open, she threw it at Nathaniel whose eyes widened with shock and later with fear.

"Get this, you arse- fucking- hole!" She cursed at him.

And a scream was heard which made the whole great hall to get silent.

"OH MY GOD!"

A pale green frog was hanging on Nathaniel's face. He immediately rose up from his seat and tried to move away, but Eleanor didn't leave him.

"Rictusempra!" She said the spell and soon the boy started to laugh and cry at the same time.

"El, do it" Ruby said as Eleanor nodded her head and glared at the boy who was still on the seat while laughing and trying to remove the frog.

And another sound was heard.

A loud slap.

"You fucking moron!" Eleanor yelled at him and slapped him once again so hard that the frog fell down and started to hop around the hall- which technically made the people to scream.

"AHH!!"

and that led to a big mess. Foods were thrown, people stepped on eachothers foot and screamed the hell out of their lungs.

Before the duo could escape, they got caught. By none other than, Filch.

"Detention for you both!" He yelled at them and tried to calm down the students. And this happened only in the hufflepuff table as the frog was roaming only there.

Ruby and Eleanor looked at eachother. They knew what they did was wrong, their plan was to destroy Nathaniel and rest happened out of plan.

But they can't help laughing at the mess they created.

And from afar, the marauders looked at the duo with proud smile except for Remus, but still he was happy that his sister was also enjoying their school life.
