Eversince that night, Ruby and Sirius started to spend most of their time together, whereas Remus was pulling out his hair about the proposal.

"John, what's wrong? Why's your hand shivering?" Eleanor asked as she looked at him with concern.

"No, I'm fine. Perfectly alright, " he replied with a nod as Eleanor squinted her eyes.

"Sure?"

"Totally," Remus said as the couple cuddled in the couch. Remus clutched his pant pocket. Eleanor eyed him with concern as she kept her hand on his shoulder. Remus paused his actions as he stared at her eyes.

"Come on, John. Something's troubling you, " Eleanor said as she waited for him to answer back.

"Um-- I-- , well, I'm about to ask you something," Remus stuttered as Eleanor nodded his head.

"What'd you do if-- if we were separated?" Eleanor's heart dropped at his question. She never thought about that in her lifetime, and now that Remus has questioned about it, it made her to be silent.

"I'm not breaking up with you! Please don't think like that! I'd rather die than break our hearts!" Eleanor smiled affectionately as she caressed his cheek and looked at him with smitten eyes.

"I'd rather die than let you go," she said as she pressed her liod against his lips. Remus savored it as he kissed her back with the same emotions.

Love. Nothing else.

And that's the moment Remus lost all of his negative thoughts and got the courage to open up.

"Will you marry me, Eleanor Bingley?" Eleanor pulled away from him as she looked at him with wide eyes.

"SHE SAID YES!" Ruby heard Remus yelling in excitement as she smiled happily. She went downstairs to see him doing a happy dance with Hope as Lyall clapped his hands.

Ruby looked at them as she felt a pang in her chest. Everything would've changed if she wasn't a seer. She hugged herself as she leaned her side arm against the doorframe and admired them.

"When's the wedding?" Hope asked as Remus grinned.

"Probably around next week," he said, looking at his parents. "And, I want your blessings, mom and dad... she doesn't have one, and I want you guys to take care of her and make her feel home... she deserves it. " Lyall smiled as she side hugged his wife.

His son has grown.

His tiny little son, who was scared of socializing and scared of relationships, is now engaged.

"Look at the lover boy," Remus chuckled as she scratched the nape of his neck and averted his gaze, and that's when he saw his sister, looking at them.

"RUBY! YOUR BROTHER IS GONNA MARRY ELEANOR!" He shouted as he picked her up and twirled her around. Ruby let out a yelp as she laughed heartily.

"Put me down! I feel like fainting!" She exclaimed as Remus placed her on the floor. Ruby hugged her brother wholeheartedly as Remus too hugged her back.

"I'm happy for you, Remy,"

"I know that, Ruby,

After the celebration with his family, Remus went to celebrate it with his friends, leaving Ruby alone with her family.

Ruby was reading her favorite book, which was gifted to her by Remus for the nth time. Suddenly she heard a knock on the door. Ruby looked up from the book to see her mother, Hope, standing at the entrance of the room.

Ruby dropped the book down as she stared at her mother with expectant eyes.

"Can I get in?" She immediately nodded her head in response as Hope entered in and closed the door.

Hope sat down on the bed as Ruby remained silent. She didn't want to look at her mother, not when she lied to her, not when she broke her mother's trust. All of these thoughts made her vision to get blurry because of the stagnant tears.

"I'm sorry, honey," Hope whispered as she looked at Ruby. A drop tear fell on her hand as she looked at her mother with tearful eyes.

"It was-- hell, without talking to for a year, felt like a living hell... I'm sorry for not understanding you, Ruby. " Ruby choked on her sobs as she hugged her mother, finally after a year.

"I'm sorry too, mom!" She whispered as Hope caressed her daughter's hair and wiped her own tears.

Things were going better, at least better than the sad days.
