𝐺𝑜𝑙𝑑𝑒𝑛 ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑟

The scenery looked etheral. The river was looking crystal clear with the sky's reflection in it. The trees and bushes made the place look cozy and compact, and mostly, she felt comfort from there.

"How? I mean, what place is this?"

"I don't know the name, honestly. My cousin was the one who gave me this idea, " Sirius said sheepishly. " She always wanted to come here with the love of her life, but sadly, she didn't get any."

"Are you talking about, Andromeda?"

"Yes, and address her as 'Tonks,'" Sirius said as he back hugged Ruby and kept his chin above her right shoulder as they cheeks brushed against each other.

"How's she?" Sirius hummed in reply as he hugged her even tighter as Ruby chuckled.

"Stop! I'm gonna die if you hold me like this!" Ruby joked as Sirius pulled her even closer to him as her back was pressed against his chest. He nuzzled his face into the crook of her neck as he exhaled, which tickled her. Ruby wiggled out from his grip as Sirius grinned, watching her run towards the river and away from him.

"Hey, stop!" Ruby yelled as she felt Sirius picking her from the ground in bridal style as he ran towards the river with a wicked smile.

"Sirius, no! Don't!" Ruby yelled as Sirius shook his head with a teasing grin as he stood at the banks of the river.

"I love you, please don't drop me!" Ruby sugar coated him with words.

"Uh-uh, no!" He exclaimed as he dropped her on the water as Ruby yelped in surprise. Sirius laughed at her as he watched her adjusting her wet hair and glaring at him.

"At least help me, huh?" She asked as she held her hand up and looked at him with boring eyes. Sirius smiled cheekily as he took her hand, but before he could help him, she helped him by pulling him down.

"RUBA!" He exclaimed as he saw Ruby laughing with tears from her eyes. Sirius ran a hand through his wet hair as he saw her getting up by herself and smirking at him as she held her hand down.

"Need a hand?" She asked, cockily.

"Oh, you're so gonna regret this, Ruba," Sirius said in a challenging tone as Ruby understood the meaning behind it. As soon as he got him, Ruby started to run as Sirius chased her. Since luck wasn't on her side, she got caught by Sirius in no time as he wrapped his arms around her waist from behind and spun her around and dropped her on the river. Ruby let out a scream as she once again lost to him.

"I'm gonna kill you!"

"No, you won't," Sirius said with a smirk as Ruby pulled him down as he fell beside her.

"NOT MY HAIR AGAIN!"

"Stop it, drama queen."

"Shove off," Sirius remarked as Ruby just smiled and pushed his wet hair aside, which revealed his forehead.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Sirius asked in an amused tone.

"Your eyes... looks beautiful, " Ruby whispered as she continued. " Yeah, it's beautiful,"
It felt like deja vu for Sirius. He chuckled at the memory, which was noticed by Ruby.

"What happened?" She asked.

"I know," Sirius trailed on. "That I have beautiful eyes"

"How come?" Ruby asked as she looked at him with confused eyes.

"A woman told me," he paused as he looked at her reaction.

"Oh," Ruby replied in disappointment as Sirius bit his lowerlip in order to stop himself from smiling.

"It was you,"

"What?" She exclaimed.

"Yeah, it was you. When you were fifteen and drunk, the woman I talked about was you, Ruba, " Sirius said, smiling at her flustered face.

"I--I don't remember," Ruby said.

"I mean, you were practically wasted at the time and actually you passed put as soon as you told me how my beautiful my eyes were" Sirius said as Ruby just leaned her head on his shoulder to hide her face from him.

She loved it.

He loved it.

I mean, they loved that moment of their life. It was a beautiful hour.

Golden hour.
