"Wake up you are going to be late!"
I sit up and see Ivy. She is yelling at me.
"We have finders class! You don't want Mr. Edge as an enemy!"
I get out of bed and throw on a t-shirt that has a picture of a horse on it. I grab some jeggings and put those on. I run out the door without shoes on holding on to a pair of blue flats.
I run across the halls to classroom 5B.
I sit down just before the bell rings. I slip on my shoes. Ivy and Sunny are sitting down doing their work. Mr. Edge comes up to me.
"Hello Rainy I'm Mr. Edge. In finders class we find what abilities we have and learn how to use them. Since you are the first person with the gift of the ocean for 500 years here are some history books to learn about past people with the water gift."
I start reading
Control currents
Bla bla bla
Talk to ocean animals
Bla bla bla
Add and subtract water from situations Bla bla bla
DING
The bell rings and I go to my next class
The next class I have is learning to develop your powers. Sunny, Ivy, Blake, and Cole are in my class. The teacher walks up to the from of the class.
"Welcome Rainy. I am Mrs. Ingrid. in this class you will learn how to develop your powers. Each student will show you what they have done so far. Ivy."
Ivy makes a flower grow out of a nearby flower pot. It is purple with little splatters of red almost like paint.
"Blake."
Blake freezes the flower. It doesn't look damaged though. He must have been very careful.
"Sunny."
Sunny starts to thaw the flower but the teacher drops a pencil. Sunny jumps and the overhead screen catches fire.
I run but trip and the fire burns my heel.
"Help! " I scream. My voice is loud and raspy from fear.
Suddenly someone grabs me and pulls me out of the fire.
Cliffhanger! Who do you think it is.
