Empress of the Ocean and All Things Water

The dance

I go to my other classes which a basically all normal educational classes. The school does not give us homework in the non-gifted classes.
The dance is tonight and Sunny, Ivy and I get ready together.

Sunny does our nails we do glitter ombré in the colors of our dresses. Ivy does our hair. She does my hair up in a braided bun. She crimps Sunny's hair. She curls her own hair in a beachy waves. I attempt to do their makeup. It looks a lot better than I thought it would.

We put in our dresses and wait for our dates to pick us up. We hear a knock on the door. Sunny screams with delight but then starts laughing because she realizes they can hear her. I go answer the door. Sebastian, Blake, and COLE are there.

"What are you doing here?" I ask Cole coldly.

"I'm Ivy's date,"he says.

Sunny walks up behind me. When she sees Cole she backs away and I hear her run to the bathroom.

Ivy walks up behind me.

"Hey Cole," she says. This is awkward

"I'll go get Sunny sorry for keeping you guys waiting." I glare at Cole. I go to the bathroom and knock. "Sunny!" She opens the door.

"Hey" she says. Her face is really red.

I smile at her "You can come out. He is just Ivy's date. He won't hurt you. I will make sure of it."

We walk out and I apologize for keeping everyone. We walk to the auditorium where the dance is being held. Many people are already there. Come in with Blake and I in the middle of the two other couples.

We all go off separately. Blake and I go to her refreshments. Sunny and Sebastian go to talk. Ivy and Cole go to dance.

About an hour later the DJ announces the slow dance. We all go to the dance floor. "Skinny Love" by Birdy comes on. We slow dance. Blake and I start a conversation.

" Blake, this May be awkward to say but I really like you," I say to him.

" I don't think I like you, I think I am in love with you."

"He kisses me and I kiss him back."

We dance for a while later and talk.

Our dates drop the girls and I off at dorm #4.

I had a great day today.

"What did you guys do?" Ivy asks excitedly.

Sunny speaks up "He told me he wants to go out with me."

Ivy and I both scream happily.

"By the way, thanks for setting me up with him." We are both quiet. "He told me. He is not going to keep secrets from me."

Ivy starts talking "Cole said I am the best thing that ever happened to him."

Sunny is quiet and looks at me. "Cool," I say trying to sound positive.

"You guys don't sound happy for me," she says accusingly.

"He said that to both of us before you know what" Sunny says.

Ivy looks offended "I believe him. I love him and he loves me back. You are just jealous he doesn't like you as much as me."

She leaves the room.

"What did you do Rainy?" Sunny asks quietly.

"We kissed."
"What! Did you like kiss or KISS."

"Just kissed."

"Still that is fantastic . "

"In happy you are with him but I am worried for Ivy."

Sunny leaves and I go to sleep.
