I try to get her attention. "Sunny!" What have I done.
"Rainy?"
I turn around and Kyle is behind me. "Thank goodness. Kyle, I need your help Sunny went in to shock and I don't know what to do."
He comes and sits down in front of her. "Let her go I can handle it." I let Sunny go and he grabs her shoulders and looks into her eyes.
"It will be okay. I need you to be strong. Stay awake I don't want you to pass out. Focus on my voice. Okay? We are going to head back to the school. Try to walk."
He stands her up but she falls to the ground. Luckily he catches her. Kyle slips his hand into his pocket and pulls out car keys.
"I'm going to have to carry her. Here are my car keys. Get the car started so we can head right to the school."
"Okay," I reply.
I run to his car and get it started. A few moments later Kyle shows up with Sunny. We all get situated in the car and Kyle hops in the driver's seat. When we get to the school we take Sunny to the infirmary. And go sit in the waiting room.
"Thank goodness you were there. Thank you so much for helping," I say.
"You're welcome. You are Eliza's friend and if she trusts you I trust you. What exactly happened."
I look away from him, "I told her her how Sebastian died."
"That must have been hard for her," he says.
I think about the conversation Ivy and I had a while ago,"Do you know Ivy?"
"Oh yeah. She's a pretty cool girl from what I've seen."
This is a stupid idea, "This might sound weird but I think you two would be great together."
"Really. I do kind of like her."
Cole bursts through the doors, "Is she okay?!"
"Calm down Coleslaw," I say.
"Sorry," he says.
A few nurses bring Sunny in with a shock blanket draped around her shoulders.
She walks over to Cole hugs him and cries. He whispers to her and she eventually looks up at him.
"You guys can go," he says to Kyle and I.
"Okay," Kyle says standing up.
Sunny turns to him and thanks him for helping her. She looks at me but doesn't say anything.
Kyle and I both leave.
